Had another resident below us who knocked on our door asking us to be quiet!! We were only walking around and it wasn’t even 10pm. Not appropriate at all.

Has kitchenette Lots of lights inside. Which is good.

No set of towel upon arrival. What if some travellers didn't bring any towel for the reason. And arrived late. The washing open late maybe there is a reason. Buts its alright.

The pool was dirty and not kept up to date with cleaning. The chairs around the pool were broken. There is graffiti all over the Batavia signages. There was only one fry pan and pot to cook with. No dishwasher to make sure dishes were actually hygienically clean. No hand towel or face washers provided.

Particularly liked the room on ground floor where there were flowers and pots which we enjoyed when we sat out - would definitely request this room next time we book

Location, facilities, easy check in and out. Excellent park very close by.

No lock on interior of door (2year old was able to reach handle and open from inside) so had to barricade door with furniture to ensure he didn't wander out during the night.

the light coming through the window to the bedroom was incredibly bright made it hard to sleep past sunrise which when on holidays was quite annoying perhaps some better window coverings would be an option.

We love staying at the Batavia. Its the best location, easy parking and access. The price is great, our expectations always match what we are paying.... its very clean and the bed is comfortable. Its a great size and the kitchen is handy. We will be back again, its our favourite place to stay!

The tiles around the pool are quite uneven and maybe could do with saftey neon gaffa tape on the bad spots (i kicked the ball of my foot while walking and its been an awful injury to be honest).

caretaker was rude and unwelcoming, got told to shut up at 4PM as we were coming into the place, my partner and my 3 year old were having some fun together and got told to keep it down (we were on the street) also under the influence that it was a family friendly and apparently a sound proof room but got told the floors were thin and needed to keep it down! also haven’t received our bond even though we left the room in perfect condition and in the same condition we checked in with!! very disappointed and never coming back especially with the price you pay… NOT WORTH IT
