Travelling by car the Hotel Conteverde is easy to find and has ample parking space. It is the second time we stayed here as the Hotel is in a quiet spot just at the edge of the town and industrial estate. The room (suite) is very spacious and offers all comfort to wish for. Good working air conditioning, a comfortable bed, shower room and a separate room with Spa Bath (like a Jacuzzi). Breakfast is good and plenty, certainly as Italian style breakfasts go. Coffee barista made, great. We did not make use of the restaurant in the evenings. Staff helpful and friendly. Housekeeping in particular. The ladies always have a greeting and a smile. From the Hotel we visit this part of Italy roughly between Reggio Emilia, Parma and Piacenza to see its Roman and Medieval past. The Hotel for us is well placed to roam the countryside and visit Castles, Manors, Villages, Musea and Archaeological sites. We do like Hotel Conteverde and will certainly visit again.

Location is practicle (off the highway - not too far), good food with kind service. Great place for one night!

Easy access from/to the highway, comfort of the room, delicious cousine, welcomed staff. Ideal place to stay, once you have some business around Parma / Regio Emilia and you come with your iwn car. Very quiet, a lot of parking lots, luxury rooms (ask for suite, it has great bathroom and spacious terrase ;0). Just great value for money, compared to slightly overpriced Parma hotels with similar or even lower standard.

Breakfast was not very good. there was no pancakes, porridge, cottage cheese pancakes for children.

Location is good. Easy to get to parma and Modena also close to castle in the Hills about 15 mins. All by car

Cleanliness

Excellent breakfast. Very good location. Ample and secure parking. Comfortable beds. Safety box in room. Ample bathroom. Hot showers and bidet. Quiet place.

Very nice location at the outskirt of a small town. There was a nice garden around the hotel which contributed significantly to the overall impression. Very helpful and friendly at the reception and during the breakfast the following day.

The aircondition in our room was malfunction, which was quite pity due to extremely hot weather.

Spacious parking within the grounds. From what I could see there is camera over-watch. Reception friendly, direct and to the point, In English. Room, well, a suite. We spoiled ourselves. Beds: good length and very comfortable. The hotel is quiet, no room noises nor from outside. Breakfast extensive. What is not there do ask for. There is a coffee dispenser. Better to ask the waitresses for coffee from the barista. All in all we felt at ease and rested after our few days stay. Sure to stay again, when in the area. In general the hotel is well placed to us use a a base visiting a very interesting area of Italy.

Not really a complaint but more of a suggestion: as I like to sit outside reading after a day out I missed a simple chair on the balcony. What I did not really like is the lack of privacy on the balcony. At each end the guestrooms open up to the same balcony. A lattice separation was not there (anymore?) like on the balcony on the other floor.

We had the suite - a wonderful, large 2-room appartment with huge balcony and two bathrooms. Very clean and comfortable, a/c works well, so does WiFi. Very friedly and supportive staff. Restaurant with excellent food and wine. Overall really great value for money. We are looking forward to come back!
