The hotel was in an incredible location with an iconic view. Staff were always friendly and ready to help with anything.

There could have been more water still water in the room.

Breakfast was outstanding every day and the view of the Colosseum with the sun coming up on it at breakfast is to die for. Also the views of the Colosseum from Hotel rooms made the experience one we will never forget. I am eternally grateful to the manager for our upgrade which helped make this stay part of a trip of a lifetime.

Very dark decor and not enough lights.

The hotel is very dishonest as regards the apartment that is separate from the hotel premise. At no stage, the hotel stressed that the apartment has no view on the colosseum, yet that's the whole point of making a reservation at this hotel. We would never have paid that amount of money for a normal apartment. BTW, I called the reception because of an AC issue (there is none in the apartment...), nobody ever showed up... Bottom-line: it's a tourist trap!

from the moment we arrived at the welcome greeting, the room and view was amazing, and when we had a slight problem with the bed the management team responded perfectly and swiftly to our issue. from the management team to the porters they were all so helpful and professional. Lorenzo the manager had great English and made us feel so welcome, so thoughtful giving us umbrellas and catering to our every need.

the lift wasn’t working but it wasn’t a problem.

The bed linen wasn’t changed during our stay. The toilet roll and bottled water was not always replenished. No tea making facilities in the room.

first day TV didnt work, two guys came and said that tv is not working due to bad weather - when it was no clouds ! next morning there was no hot water!

Just everything. We are traveling a lot and we always tried to find some special place to stay - but this one was really probably the best from room, staff, breakfast, dinner, service, views, atmosphere.. everything was perfect and this was really for sure one of the best hotels of the world. Thank you so much for this experience. It was pleasure to stay here.
