Very comfortable and cosy place. Great shower for a tall person such as me, plus very nicely fitted ensuite. Lovely breakfast and great welcome. Very happy all round. Would stay again

Wonderful hosts and beautiful interior A truly stunning property and we were made to feel very special , gorgeous location , everything was spotless and very homely , breakfasts were lovely and the quality could not be surpassed! can’t wait to book again and spend more time here unwinding between long walks and cycling in the forests !

Absolutely nothing it’s perfect

Spotless and fully equipped. Everything from the bed to the bathroom was to the highest standards. The hosts were professional, friendly and very welcoming. Definitely the best B&B we have stayed at.

Stayed here for a weekend of Mountain Biking in the Forest of Dean. Spotlessly clean accommodation, like staying in a brand new luxury house. Great room and an excellent breakfast. Even when my son & wife suffered minor injuries, Jo was very helpful and went above and beyond. Will stay here again for sure.

Location was brilliant and you started the day with a wonderful breakfast all served with a a wonderful smile and ideas to help your day along . Thank you Jo.

Jo was an absolutely wonderful host. Greeting us upon arrival and helping us all in settle in. We had three rooms and every one of them were immaculate and very comfortable. Breakfast was lovely and the whole place was spotless. Absolutely perfect.

A superb b&b, staff were incredible. Jo was lovely and couldn't do enough. Super friendly and really made sure that I was happy. Breakfast was superb, rooms were modern and inviting. Decor lovely and warm. Will definitely recommend and come again.

Spotless, beautifully throughout, extra tea/coffee top-up's on the landing which is a brilliant idea, breakfast was delicious, you fill out a form of what you'd like the night before for the next morning so breakfast is speedy and hot for the time you ask for it. We had the deluxe room, The bed was so comfortable we slept really well, The pub is next door but one, bonus,, we did book for food but they cancelled because they had no chef, the fountain Inn just a short walk has lovely food, we will definitely be back! We wanted a relaxing few days away from work and we definitely found that here.

Nothing to do with the accommodation, but we wanted to go for a meal/drink not far so had to book a taxi, Jo gave us a long list of taxi's (much appreciated) but the taxi services take the fares they want. It's best to pre-book a cab and as we found out, they charge coming from where they are as opposed to where they pick you up! We were charged £12 to go a mile up the road (I have knee problems so walking is hard) because he had to come 4 miles before he picked us up.

We had a wonderful stay at Deanfield. Jo went out of her way to make us feel welcome and sort us out with taxis to the wedding venue. The room was extremely comfortable and breakfast was first class. We can’t wait to come back again!
