Very friendly staff and a lovely welcome to the hotel including drinks and snacks. The room was a good size and the beds were comfy. Kitchenette is limited but still able to cook and prepare simple meals. Well located to Prokopios beach and the town, only a 10-15 minute walk. There is a bus stop close by, but sometimes the buses are full and you have to wait! Really great view from a massive private patio, but this does vary based on the room.

Furniture is a little tired, though still comfy. The bathroom door didn't close properly, which at times is annoying...! There was no draining board by the sink. Some of the towels were quite scratchy. Nevertheless, these are very minor issues and we enjoyed our stay and would stay again.

Red Lake is an absolute gem. Sophia, her sister and parents were the ultimate friendly, welcoming and helpful hosts from the minute we arrived and were given fresh juice and cake to doing laundry for us for free, chatting and helping with transfers. The rooms are spotless and simple but perfect for your need. The whole place was gloriously quiet, familial and authentic - we could read by the gorgeous pool listening to birdsong - and its westward facing location affords the most beautiful sunsets. You feel like you’re away from it all yet only a 10 minute walk down the beach to the buzz of the town. As well as the lively (but not tacky) strip of restaurants etc there’s a terrific arts centre nearby that puts on live music and has an open-air cinema. You really can enjoy the best of a homely away-from-it-all atmosphere with a gorgeous beach, watersports and great food on your doorstep. Highly recommended.

WiFi is a bit weak but we found that most places we went.

We booked this accomodation for the the good reviews. And I admit they were correct. More hotel feeling than appartment feeling. They cleaned every day and each time fresh towels. Very friendly owners. Perfect location with amazing view and close to the best beach of Naxos. Good communication was also a plus. We enjoyed our holiday.

Some more space in the bathroom would be comfortable.

Amazing location and close to a beautiful, uncrowded beach. The family are incredibly friendly and hospitable.

Big balcony and excellent view of the red lake and Agios Prokopios beach which is less than 5 minutes walking. Enjoy the magnificent sunset at the pool. Great location, 10 min drive to xora town or plaka beach. The room was very clean and practical and the mattress really soft. Great hospitality overall!

Internet was sometimes poor

Friendly family that owns the place. The pool is quiet and with a beautiful view. Room is good for the price and is cleaned on request. Hotel is in a quiet place, but within 8mins walk to the beach and nearby restaurants.

Too bad the pool bar was closed.

I didn't like that they tried to charge my card when I wasn't there. When I booked, I was informed that I would pay when I arrived. To me, this means that they will come and ask me to pay, not that they will just take my card numbers from booking.com and charge me whenever they want. I thought this was rude. I also didn't like the area around the hotel. I'm sure some people will like it, but I couldn't leave quickly enough. It's all 5 star hotels and pretentious restaurants, so everything is super expensive. For example, there's a place on the beach where it costs 35 euros a day to hire a sun lounger. No thanks! Not for me.

The location and architecture of the pension is beautiful. Get great views of the sea and red lake. Would definitely recommend especially as one of the most beautiful beaches is a 5 min walk away!
