Breakfast was good.
The plumbing was a bit dodgy! The shower did not drain.

Spacious cottage in beautiful gardens. We visited in winter and the gas fireplace was ideal to warm the apartment up. We had a problem with an appliance that caused the electricity to trip, which was sorted out swiftly.
Fittings and details are by now a bit dated and some need replacing.

The staff did attend to our requests very promptly. When asked for extra plugs and electric blankets, it was delivered at the cottage. Very nice and quite setting, loved the trees. Came down for the open gardens.
The fridge had a leak, as well as the roof when it rained. The one electric blanket did not work and there were no double plugs for the electric blankets. The one bed had no electric blanket on at all. Pool needs urgent attention.

A stunning little cottage nestled in the forest. The rooms are comfortable and the cottage itself is very well equipped. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The area itself is absolutely magical. We cannot wait to come back.
