Super warm and good service f! We arrived hotel earlier than check-in time around 2 hours, we’re inform to check in as oroom is ready!!😀 Moreover, I even recirved a birthday cake 🎂 at the same day as hotel noticed that! Buffet breakfast is recommended with lovely and various kinds of food✅

It was the first time that I had enjoyed a hotel breakfast. Latex pillows that were available in the room were terrific. The hotel staff was accommodating and responsive. I had a few requests during my stay, and they usually responded/helped within 15 minutes.

Breakfast was very good with many varieties to choose from. The quality of the food is also very good.

Leafy quiet neighbourhood without the constant din of mopeds. Lobby area of hotel very nice. Nice view out of the window.

I booked a 3 night stay in this hotel to work in the room and use the swimming pool as there are a lack of hotel options in Taichung (for a lap pool). I was informed by a small notice in the room on arrival that both the WIFI and TV would be unstable during my stay due to 'routine network system test'. Whilst I was happy to use the WIFI hotspot on my mobile phone for my laptop computer, the small room TV was so old that it did not have an HDMI socket (only had RCA jacks, coaxial TV and VGA sockets). No chance of watching Amazon Prime then except on my laptop. There was an electric kettle but no coffee machine - most 3 star hotels in Taichung have at least a Nespresso machine in the room. The 'do not disturb sign' on the door knob and digital version activated inside the room mean nothing in this hotel because the staff take no notice of it. Not everybody needs their laundry changing everyday and I was in the middle of a Teams meeting when the hotel manager persistently knocked at the door to demand why I didn't want my linen changed. Then instead of apologising they stated they were worried about me but didn't think to call the room telephone. Next day it happened again. The Gym and Pool has private membership for non hotel residents so you have to compete with them to use the small pool. The Pool comprises 4 lines of two ~25m and two outer training lanes of ~20m. There are no hotel resident-only times and there is no etiquette of using this pool. For example, I had to wait 40 minutes for two non-hotel residents to finish swimming in the two longer lanes and I had one non-resident enter my lane and swimming against me hoping to force me to leave, all whilst being watched by the pool attendant. The pool closes between 12:00 and 13:00, not for cleaning, but for a staff lunch break - I have never seen this in a 5 star hotel. The quiet time is from 13:00 when all the locals are having their lunch break snooze.

The hotel lobby is very beautiful, and the staff is welcoming and polite. As a foreigner, I noticed many staff members do speak English and could explain things clearly in English. The spa was amazing and very relaxing. Definitely recommend taking advantage of it.

View from the window is wonderful and wide, we can see high speed train passing by from the room. It's convenient in transportation even if you come here by bus. Room is spacious including the beds, desk and the bathroom. Breakfast is also awesome with lots of choices to meet different needs from all people.

The weather was bad at the day we arrived but it's not the problem of the hotel.

Comfortable and clean rooms. Good facilities and convenient location.

Although there were many options at breakfast, the western was more a Chinese take on western so left us feeling a little underwhelmed.
