The place was simple and just did the job it set out to do. The place was cleaned within an inch of its life. The stainless steel surfaces were like chrome they were so well cared for. It was starting to blow a storm when we arrived and the heatpump worked wonders. The shower was a little old fashioned but worked well and was hot, which was great.

The one thing that was a slight disappointment was that we couldn't find a recycling bin so left our recyclables next to the bin. Literally that was our only complaint, the place did exactly what it said on the tin :D

I like walking into a lovely clean room and finding that all the facilities are also lovely and clean. Hygiene is first priority and they met that expectation.

The room smelt bad even though it was aired. The blankets n sheets had stains on them, the lawns were long as, and their was no HRV and the windows had morning dew on them. It was bad

the rooms were not vacuumed properly, we found dead bugs and Nader the bed and looking out the back, the lawns were unmaintained. just looked messy

Good value for money and close to town

One of the chairs was broken and nearly collapsed. In fairness to the staff, she was concerned about it and said it would be replaced asap.

Walking distant to supermarkets, resturants. Close drive to the town basin

Rooms need to be vacuumed more often as their was hair ties/rubber bands under the bed from previous guest.

The staff where very very friendly and accommodating. Amenities very handy Very close to everything . Restaurants . Shopping complex. Gym. Cafes. Convenience store across the road 10 min walk to City Centre &Town Harbour. Local Bustop right at Motel Six .

Need to get rid of 1 door in bathroom soooo in the road and not needed as there are 2 doors there. No Uber in Whangarei. Taxi service is horrendous drivers are dodgy. Won't accept the ride if too short. They want cash upfront. No option but to walk especially Sundays and public holidays as there are NO local buses running.

Location

Only 4 small milk sachets provided (enough for 2 cups of tea). Spiders in cutlery drawer. Room needs make-over - tired and old.
