Everything was amazing. Truly one of the nicest, most well-kept and relaxing places we have stayed in in this price range. Our room (one of the suites) was spacious and very clean. The pool area (with the view!) is amazing. Big thank you to Silvia and her team!

Weather was awful, lately the hotel doesn't have anything to do with it. However, we didn't have energy, water and internet during the complete stay. It seems other hotels are better prepared for those events. Even flushing the toilette became an adventure under those circumstances. Breakfast was the WoW in my whole Mexico trip. It could have been easier to get some fresh tropical fruits like papayas, pineapples, mangos and bring some fresh juices from downtown. Rooms are OK, but way too small and overprice when you compare what you can get directly in other small "resorts" in town. Due to bad weather, you cannot.go easily to town..We kind of miss the whole Zipolite flare being secluded way too far from the places you can get some meals. In general we were glad to leave Zipolite after the storm.

The Casa Kalmar is a beatufiul place. The staff is fantastic the breakfast is terrific. The butterflies on the way to the beach were unexpected but magical. The only downside was having to walk up two flights of stairs.

The walk up the flight of stairs is not for the faint of heart. The road up to the hotel was interesting but worth the adventure.

Rooms tend to be a bit small, staff is when asked very attentive but I guess it has this Zipolite vibe - self service atmosphere (especially at breakfast). Open bar was closed due to COVID. Nevertheless, you will always look around and think „OH MY GOD! i am in paradise!“

At Casa Kalmar you feel immediately at home and you feel like you're on top of the world with the spectacular views! The manager Silvia and her colleague Christina are doing an excellent job together with their staff, making sure that no wish of a guest remains unfulfilled. The location is perfect, very safe and quiet, you can choose between the big loco Zipolite beach on one side, and wonderful little Playa Camaron on the other side, or any of the other great beaches in the area. I have booked again for April and can't wait to get there. I have travelled quite a bit in my life, this is one of the very best hotels I have ever stayed in!

The hotel is really pretty, has an outstanding view and a great swimming pool to see the sunset. The room we had was quite big and had a private balcony as well. The staff was nice and had some advice on things to visit/ restaurants to try.

The shower did not work properly, you could have only really warm or really cold water. The smart TV did not work at all. When it comes to amenities, having at least a coffee machine in the room would be great given the price of the night.

Beautiful property, close to beach and the main town. Lovely pool and included breakfast was delicious. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Amazing view of the ocean and beach.

The bed was a bit hard, but that is to be expected in Mexico.
