Casa Carmen Morelos is a hidden gem in Oaxaca City! It was a welcomed escape from the hustle and bustle of the city and offered a wonderful space to retreat to at the end of each day, while still somehow being in the perfect, central location.The space and rooms are not only beautifully designed, but is also incredibly intimate for those looking for a relaxing and quiet space. The staff were incredibly helpful and welcoming. Highly recommend to everyone!

The hotel was so beautiful ! It was immaculate and the service was excellent! It was very quiet and close to the city center. We really felt pampered by a very attentive staff.

The only thing I would have changed was to have more natural light coming into the room.

There is a school or government building nearby that has a band that plays music at 7am. We wanted to wake up around that time, and it wasn't too loud, so no big deal.

We enjoyed how secure and relaxing this place was. It felt like a small oasis full of art details. The staff was very attentive and kept everything super clean

The place is a more expensive than others in the area, but it’s worth it

We had great stay at Casa Carmen Morelos! The staff (Michele and Mr. Conrado) and everyone else made our time in Oaxaca exceptional. The warm welcome, the tips, the responsiveness was something beyond what we experienced anywhere else. The breakfast was delicious and nicely made. The team was also very flexible to our needs which we highly appreciated. The house itself has beautiful design, we enjoyed sitting on the terrace every night after touring the city. We will definitely come back again!

Everything was perfect! The Hotel is located in a really good area in the center. The hotel is in great condition and super clean. It was made with a lot of high quality materials and with a lot of details. The staff is super friendly and always there to help if you need something. Oaxaca is a place where you can find great food, also in that hotel you get the best breakfast you can imagine. Tlayuda, omelete, chilaquiles or mole....there are many different options prepared by the staff. The hotel has its great and unique character also because of the staff working there. Special thanks to Michelle, Serena and Chuy. They made our stay there really the best we ever had. Super delicious food! Also if you have the chance that Chuy can make you a cocktail (like the Mango-Maracuja-Mezcal one), you should try it! Best cocktail you can get in town! Hotel rooms are super clean and in great condition! The bathroom has a great big shower and a lot of space. It was an awesome stay! I hope we can go back there soon!

The location is excellent and the property is very cute. Staff were incredibly welcoming. Breakfast was really good.

Only downside is rooms in the front open onto the street so can't really open the windows for fresh air.

Property is beautiful ! It my second time there , it’s not so centric but in a good location close to good restos. Staff are amazing , they could do with a nice terrace but overall amazing stay

Small boutique hotel with only 4 rooms. We had the superior king suite, very spacious, very quiet (located at the back of the patio), a very comfy bed with a firm mattress, and a nice outdoor living space. The service is outstanding (thanks to Michelle who speak very good English). Every time we came to the hotel, we were offered a refreshment. The breakfast is excellent, with local specialities, changing every day. All facilities are very clean. We loved the modern contemporary design. Everything is at close walking distance (5 mn to zocalo, 10 mn to templo Santo Domingo). We booked through Casa Carmen a private car with an English speaking driver to visit places of interest near Oaxaca : the service was excellent with a big comfortable car, the driver was very nice and helpful. I definitely recommend Casa Carmen Morelos.

The streets to go from hotel to zocalo are noisy with much traffic.

Absolutely gorgeous hotel, one of the best I've ever stayed out. Only 4 rooms so really quiet and you get to know the lovely staff. Outstanding freshly cooked Mexican breakfasts. We stayed in the largest room which was a dream. Very comfortable bed and shower. I hope to visit again one day. Great location to, short work to everything in the city centre.

I have nothing bad to say, the hotel was perfect.
