Beautiful location, hotel very close it the center and well connected. The view form the rooms (we were at the 4th floor) was just absolutely stunning and amazing. The service and thr staff were great! Rooms are quiet, with the windows closed you hear nothing from outside and the insulation between the rooms looked really effective.

I would have loved a but more variety available for the buffet. Also, the rooms are without A/C (which is not really needed) and have fans, but the fan in my room was a bit noisy and had to play with it quiet a while to stop the noise. Also for some reason the TV was connected to a socket that wasn't working, had to play with that as well to make it work.

Everything was excellent and Specially the guy in night shift I think his name is Aneez( exactly not remember). Breakfast was amazing and all staff were very good with mini bar included in my package. Room service was also provided which was excellent.

Rooms were full of spider and webs.

Beautiful property with great views to the city, comfortable room and amenities, excellent breakfast spread, loved the uniqueness of the funicular to the hotel, highly recommend! A very good customer service, staffs are very helpful. Convenient location.

The location is great. It's not central old town, so navigating to the hotel is easier, and there was on-site parking. Also, being outside the central part of the city makes it quieter, and the views are spectacular. The funicular makes heading down to the city very easy. The staff made us feel welcome and helped us celebrate our daughter's birthday at the restaurant. The bar staff were very fun to talk with!

Nothing we didn't like. Not all rooms were air conditioned, but on hot days, once the sun went down, open windows worked well enough.

Exceptional view over Lucerne and lake/mountains in the distance. View from reasonably comfortable room somewhat restricted-best from the bath!. Was room 47 (in the eaves) really a superior room as booked? The location was great but walk through rather grubby part of town to get there. Reception staff friendly and helpful, but most questions could have been avoided with a minimum of literature available.

The restaurant staff were inefficient (beer requested 3x never arrived) rude on one occasion when breakfast coffee never arrived. Daft system where a request for a pot of coffee instead of individual cups was rejected. No indication that eggs other than boiled were available. Virtually no information available-was there wifi? A notice by the parking meter explaining that parking for hotel guests could be settled via the hotel would have relieved considerable anxiety

absolutely beautiful! an old castle turned into a hotel , so charming and nicely done , you feel you are transported back in time but have all the luxuries of modern life ! excellent service from staff specially breakfast crew that provided five star service and accommodated any request we had ( gluten free and extra hot coffee to our liking) loved the tourist travel pass given to us as well !

Beautifully restored hotel in a fantastic position with views over the lake and town. Restaurant was exceptional, both in design and food. Staff could not do enough to help.

Nice weekend getaway

We stayed at the lake view junior suite, overall it is a nice room which needs to be renovated, but it is misleading to say that this room has a lake view. Better call it a side lake view, even for that the guests need to make an effort to see the lake. There is also on top a resort fee, you have to pay during the check out and we couldn’t understand what this is for. There is absolutely no resort facility at the hotel

Extremely bad organized inside the restaurant, they almost threw us out of the bar and communication between us and them, those situations never happened in the past.
