We enjoyed our stay at this property. It is very close to the entrance to Sequoia National Park while still conveniently located near town. The home is well maintained with plenty of space, it is comfortably furnished, and the A/C is blessedly cool! Communication with the property manager is thorough and welcoming. Thank you for everything!

Our family loved this comfy, cozy cabin! We wanted to be as close to Sequoia NP as possible, to reduce driving time for our grandkids (one of whom is prone to car sickness). This cabin is as about as close to the park as you can get, unless you can afford to stay at Wuksachi Lodge within the park (which is closer to the main sites in the park)…but then you would not have a kitchen and LR & yard for your family to hang out together in the evening. Our 8 & 10 yr old grandkids really enjoyed their cozy BR upstairs and both other BRs are spacious & beautiful. There are a couple restaurants and a grocery store within 10 min that met all of our needs. I would definitely choose this cabin for a future visit to the awesome Sequoia National Park.

Overall we had a great stay. The house was comfortable and the AC was good. A bit hard to find as we didn’t know that the highway was Sierra Road. The front door shown on the photo wouldn’t open. There is no back deck, but there are tables and chairs in some easy gravel. We didn’t use them, it was too hot. We did use the BBQ grill.

Very clean, great ammenities, ample supplies. Pretty close to highway, but would still go back

Nice, comfortable cabin - we stayed there with 5 adults and two kids. The location is convenient and the cabin was stocked with everything we needed. Only issue we encountered was that the two bigger burners on the stove didn’t work - we were able to work around it but the heating the water for morning coffee/tea took a long time, lol!

Everything was great except the beds need to be remodeled.

The property was clean. We booked this for 6 men for two nights, on a family trip. The sleeping accommodations were not well suited for 6 men, as the bunk beds were more for children. As such, sleeping conditions were marginal. We were cooking full meals and found the utensils available for cooking were inadequate. Better and larger pots and pans would have been appreciated. We did use the grill, which was good.

We rented this for family and friends visiting for Christmas. We live across the highway which made this very convenient. Everyone enjoyed their stay

The cabin is only 4 miles from the park’s entrance and close to the market. No cell service unless you have AT&T and even then it’s spotty. There’s good WiFi at the cabin. There’s Netflix for the one tv in the front room as well. The upstairs shower has a low ceiling making it hard for my 6’1” son to shower and the downstairs shower door leaks. However both were clean and usable. Would recommend this cabin to families visiting the Sequoia National Park.

Beautiful!
We enjoyed our stay at the Sierra Western! The rooms were large and the beds were very comfortable for our party of 7. I especially loved the log cabin theme! Our only suggestion would be the carpets need a good shampoo/cleaning, but overall we found the place clean and inviting. Thank you!

Very comfortable. It would great if a dishwasher would be added. Large enough to accommodate the seven of us. Location, location, very near to Sequoia National Park South entrance.

Great cabin in a great location.
My family of 4 adults, and boys ages 2, 7, and 14 loved our stay here. All the beds were comfortable and the AC worked great during our 100 degree plus summer vacation. Ten minutes to slick Rock where you can jump in the river and fifteen minutes from kaweah lake. The other direction you’re about fifteen minutes to the metric sequoia national park.

A Large Home that Looks Like a Woodsy Cabin
Less than a 10 minute drive to Sequoia National Park and in a very cute, quaint country town, this cabin is a perfect spot for a family vacation.
First, the house itself is pretty darned big! And it's got every amenity you'd really want. Lots of room for sleeping, eating and hanging out. We grilled most of our dinners after our hiking adventures. We spent our evenings sitting outside on the back porch playing games and cards, watching deer and a very cute flock of quail running around.
The house is well appointed with utensils, condiments both in the fridge and cupboard, and there's lots of cleaning stuff (if you're so inclined.) The only thing we wished was there was a cooler that we could fill with drinks and sandwiches and take on our park jaunts. We ended up buying a nice little cooler at the Merchantile in town.
The town of Three Rivers was really cool. It's a cross between an artsy community and a super small country town. Everyone we met was super friendly. Don't come here if you're looking for lots of fancy shops, boutiques and gourmet restaurants. The few eateries here are easy going and casual...but the food is excellent!
You can't beat the proximity to Sequoia National Forest...though the drive to Kings Canyon if you follow your GPS directions is a little dicey. We learned from a park ranger very important rules -- don't rely on GPS! Take the longer more direct routes.
But getting back to the cabin...it was the perfect match to the town and the parks. It was relaxing, comfortable and felt just like a perfect home away from home...a wonderful retreat!

Log Cabin close to Sequoia
Great place, LOTS of room. Very close to south entrance of Sequoia National Park. Even though the property in on the main highway it is QUIET. Not far from town and the little shops and restaurants it has to offer.

Sequoia/ Three Rivers
All was great. The only unexpected union arrival was the proximity to the Highway. Photos make is look as tho it is tucked away in a meadow when it is in fact very close to the road without any planting or separation apart from parking area in front. The Hwy was busy when we arrived but night and mornings were quiet and lovely so in the end it really did not make a difference. Proximity to Sequoia was perfect and the walks in the neighborhood were lovely as well. House big and comfortable and warm in winter.

Very comfortable and relaxing
We enjoyed our stay here. It was so relaxing and close to the Ash Mountain Entrance to Sequoia National Park. Loved the deer that wondered by each evening and morning.
We would definitely stay again.

Beautiful home (with extremely comfortable beds!)
This is a beautiful home very close to Sequoia. We stayed for two nights. The beds are *extremely* comfortable (memory foam). and the outdoor space (backyard and porch) are wonderful.
The only downside is that each room has individual air conditioning units which are bit loud.

Perfect family getaway!
This log cabin looks cute in the pictures but is even cuter in person! Sheila's attention to detail is fantastic. We really felt the log cabin experience. We found the home to be clean and well maintained. The home is spacious and had everything we needed. The beds are very comfortable. We didn't need them but extra blankets were provided. Each room has it's own air conditioning system which was a definite plus. Another plus was the patio furniture. It was nice to enjoy our morning coffee outside while watching turkeys, hawks and hummingbirds. We came in for a wedding. Sheila was very helpful with information regarding the road to the venue and even provided an update of the weather. We highly recommend this cute cabin!

Great Location to Sequoia!! Cute Cabin in Three Rivers!!
This is a cute cabin, with a great location to Sequoia National Park. If not staying in the park...STAY HERE!! Clean, cute, a great wrap-around porch, for sitting on at night and eating dinner. The beds are comfortable, the kitchen is supplied well, no dishwasher, but that's why we have kids ;) Shelia was a life saver, she truly helped me out, I had car problems, and she was available to help....she has lots of properties in the area that I can only assume are as great as this little cabin in Three Rivers. I highly recommend this cabin!!!

Perfect family getaway location
My family of 5 loved this location and wished we could have stayed longer. The wrap around porch was a huge plus and had lots of seating. We enjoyed sipping our coffee and watching a huge flock of turkeys strut through the yard. The kitchen was clean and well stocked with dishes and cooking utensils. It was convenient for a visit to Sequoia National Park and Kings Canyon National Park. The beds were comfortable and we left one bedroom with two beds completely unused.
