Bei Buchung war nicht klar das die Gesamtanlage unter einem anderen Namen zu finden ist und nur das eine Haus Casa Martina heißt. Das wurde zwar per Booking.com Nachricht erklärt aber man ist ja nicht dauern online.

Großes App., , schöner Außenbereich, gute Ausstattung, beste Lage am Playa Negra. Die Reggae-Bar weniger Meter weiter macht das beste Essen am Beach, bei Brigitte nebenan gibt's das einzige, aber gute Frühstück in dieser Lage von
Cahuita.

Casa Martina gebucht, aber die Anlage heißt NCP. Nur das eine Haus innerhalb des Grundstücks nennt sich Martina. Unangenehme Suche, nicht nur für uns

Das Gelände ist gesichert, man wird am Tor persönlich abgeholt. Das Auto kann man auf dem Gelände parken.
Check-In an der Rezeption, Bezahlung ausschließlich in Cash (US Dollar oder Colon), das wurde auch vorab per E-Mail mitgeteilt. Der ATM Geldautomat in Cahuita hat mehrere Tage kein Geld ausgegeben, während wir dort waren, also unbedingt genügend Bargeld mitbringen!
Sehr freundliche Gastgeber, die hier auch wohnen. Sie sprechen spanisch, aber auch mit unseren ganz wenigen Spanisch Wörtern kamen wir hier super klar.
Das Apartment ist großzügig und so schön wie auf den Bildern dargestellt, auch der Gartenblick - sensationell. Affen haben wir dort im Garten und in den Bäumen des Nachbarn gesehen, und auch ein Faultier. Außerdem kann man die Brüllaffen hören, auch die turnen hier gelegentlich herum. Es gab auch kein Problem mit Mücken, wir konnten gut jederzeit auf dem großzügigen Balkon / Dachterrasse sitzen - ein Gefühl wie direkt im Dschungel zu sein.
Ein ausgezeichnetes Frühstück gibt es bei Brigitte (mehrsprachig: deutsch, englisch, französich und spanisch) nur wenige Meter entfernt.
Ich kann mir keine bessere Unterkunft in Cahuita vorstellen und werde gerne wiederkommen.

gut gelegen, Nahe am Nationalpark, in einem tropischen Garten mit vielen Tieren. ( Vögel, Frösche, Leguane, Eichhörnchen und Faultiere, gutes Wlan, sicherer Parkplatz, Pool vorhanden, kurze Wege in das Zentrum mit vielen Restaurants.Nette Besitzer.

All rooms are separate houses with a joint pool and jacuzzi. The rooms are spacious and clean. Very calm place, you can just relax by the pool and watch the birds and sloths. Or you can walk 2 mins to the beach where there are also couple of restaurants and bars.
The host doesnt speak much English but it is ok for the basic communication.
You are in the middle of nature so you may experience some bugs or other animals close to your room

The layout of the property meant that each cabin retained its privacy.
The ‘rules’ that stipulated you had to be quiet at certain times. Although the howler monkeys didn’t pay
attention to this - which was a bonus!
The swimming pool was very welcome.
The washing machine was very useful.
The location was quiet but close to playa Negro and easy walking distance to town and the national park.

Very friendly and helpful owners, we loved this little private cocoon near the beach. The pool is nice too, and you can use their bikes to explore around. The location is good too with a couple of bars/restaurants nearby.

Staying in Casa Martina is like a holiday itself. On the patio many animals can be watched, the design and location are just perfect and the hosts are extremely friendly.

Casa Martina is one of the cabins at New Caribe Point. It’s very nice with a private feel and dedicated garden area. unfortunately, the sloth wasn’t in residence while I was there but I had a very relaxing time. i loved being able to hear the sounds of the jungle at night but that may not be for everyone.
I walked into Cahuita from here most of the time. it was only 15-20 minutes but you could drive or rent a bike and be there in no time. there are also a few good restaurants between New Caribe Point and Cahuita so you don’t necessarily need to go into town.
Per posted signs, the pool has some limited hours, maybe to keep quiet for families, but it would be nice if it could be used later in the evening and earlier in the morning.

The house and grounds were a perfect getaway. The staff were all so nice and accommodating. They showed us the fruit-bearing trees around our little bungalow and the sloth asleep in the tree right outside. It was a short walk to the Reggae bar and beach.
The only issue was that the listing in Booking.com named the rental as "Casa Martina" but it is in the New Caribe Point so we were unable to find the property until the bartender at the Reggae bar helped us call the facility. They met us at the gate and got us settled in right away.

Everything was great: well equipped kitchen and little house overall, beautiful garden, clean pool and lots of animals! Playa Negra 2 minute walk away which we liked a lot more than Playa Blanca. Playa Blanca closes at 4pm and has lots of restrictions due to being part of the National Park. Playa Negra is not constrained and a perfect place for great swims, surfs and chilling.
Eduardo was the kindest host, showing the sloths in the garden and some of the fruits he had.

So calm, spacious. There are two sloths near the bungalow. They rent bicycles and are located close to a bar with good Caribbean dishes and Playa Negra. Friendly staff even though they don't speak English. We could even work from there at night, good wifi.
Owner was being a bit weird about me wanting to pay with PayPal when I explained I had no cash and the atms in town didn't work all week, but in the end she gave in if I payed a bit extra. It was not paying extra that was the problem, but having such a more complicated conversation via Google translate was not easy.

Everyone was very helpful, keeping our bags when we had to leave before the check-in of the other hotel. The place was clean, comfy and cute. The sloth in the tree is even cuter !

There are only three other rentals on the property so the pool and bbq areas are not ever crowded.
Just a short 2min walk to the beach and a 10 min walk into town.
It was hard to find because Casa Martina is located inside of “New Caribe Point” the locals know the Name New Caribe Point and New Caribe point comes up on google maps.
The bedding could use an upgrade to cotton sheets; and the mattress was a bit soft.

Excellent facilities, great host and very cozy cabin right next to the beach where I’d like to stay much longer! Loved sleeping in to the sound of the waves and the forest!
it was a bit difficult to find the place, as the signs say “New Caribe Point” and not the name of the cabin “Casa Martina”.

Exceptional hospitality! Even without English we have perfectly communicated with Anna and her husband who brought us fresh coconuts and bananas from time to time. A sloth was leaving few days just in front of our terrasse. Thanks also to Patricia for local hints!
Maybe to give a better guide how to find this pearl of the Playa Negra...and to add anothrer pan :)

We had our own bungalow with a full kitchen, indoor and outdoor table, hammock and use of the swimming pool. The woman who owns the place is so helpful and friendly! We loved the fact we could use the bikes to cycle around the local area. Casa Martina is next to the best beach in Cahuita and a sloth lives in the tree outside the room. We had such a relaxing stay and would recommend this property to anyone visiting Cahuita! 10/10

The staff was really friendly and the house was comfortable and clean. It's close to the beach (1-2 min walk). If you're lucky you can spot wildlife, e.g. sloths and iguanas, while lying in the hammock.
