View over lagoon. Gym - mix of loose weights, cardio, multi gym. Massive room with everything in it. Variety at breakfast. Site staff (cleaners, maintenance etc) very friendly and warm.
How clean the site is.
Front of house manager dealt with room issues promptly and proactively. See below.
Changed room 3 times in first 24 hours - sent to wrong room initially. Moved when complained about dirty plate in room, bathroom not fully cleaned etc.
Room 2 - a/c not working after two site staff visits in the evening followed by getting up repeatedly in night to turn a/c on/off to try to get it working.
Room 3 - super! Manager arranged complimentary breakfast to compensate. Very much appreciated.
Dinner - lovely. Just be aware - the price you see on menu is less than you are charged by around 20%. Other charges ‘appear’ when you come to sign.
Maybe me being tired or over sensitive ( I’m not usually) … but … whilst most staff seem just as lovely as all locals I’ve met, as I’ve travelled around for 5 weeks here, a few customer facing staff came across as too busy or important to have to deal with ‘little ole me’…

People are so pleasant. I think once upon a time it was a beautiful resort/hotel. Very nice bathrooms.
Smelly, mouldy room, felt unsafe as doors didn’t lock well. Very uncomfortable nights sleep. Poorly cleaned and maintained.

found the reception staff very unhelpful, especially for a family with a 1 year old baby. Breakfast isn’t great. Dirty towels given at the pool. lovely hotel facilities let down by a few poor staff members.

food is horrible,no value for money, service is poor, very immature staff, loud music was playing till mid night, mosquitoes everywhere, rooms are old, shower cubicle door was broken, commode is shaky, not enough drinking water

Arie Lagoon was a very nice hotel , we enjoyed it a lot. The place is quiet and clean, the garden and the view is beautiful. We would come back
for sure again .I would recommend this hotel to all travelers to Sri Lanka . The housekeeping did also a very good job .
1. Around the pool the woods needed to be fixed urgently , this way how they are now , they are dangerous if you walk barfoot there
2. The staff is very kind but if they see there are not many guests they are talking loud and having fun witheachother at the restaurant area ! Thats why few times we needed to wait bit longer until they took our order for drinks and food . This may never happen if there are guests !

We stayed to rest after a very long flight. The location is good and the hotel is clean and staff very helpful.

The property is beautiful and well taken care of, we enjoyed both pools, hotel staff is very attentive and always ready to help. It was worth visiting!
The breakfast variety could be better, also buffet finishes pretty early 9:30, would be nice if they offered a bit late hours let's say until 10:30. Keep in mind that tuk-tuks are very expensive in Negombo.

Nice and big rooms, view is very nice, this hotel for relaxation and away from everything.
Restaurant was bad, not clean and no varity of food. Moreover, hotel shall make a solution for mosquitoes. Transport to city is difficult.

Breakfast was ok the amount, quality and quantity was acceptable just the amount of children and noisy music was to much. The tables where nearly all wobbly and the cushions quiet dirty! Served water was chlorine!

The Evening Buffet is for 15 USD much to expensive for the offer of food! Absolutely no international standard.

hotel lovely looking but food terrible. service is poor and when I went to complain the manager still has not come back to me dispute chasing 3x I would avoid the place if I was you as Jetwing next door so

nicely located on the lagoon (but you cannot swim!), rooms were very spacious and comfortable. good was good with several choices. nice choice when you arrive to Colombo and leave by the next day!

Great location for travelling to and from the airport. Hotel rooms and attractions are spacious and beautifully designed. Two large swimming pools and the gym were brilliant.
