POSITIVES: When you walk in, the home is very clean. Area is open and appears large. Kitchen is equipped with needed cookware and utensils. Garbage bags and dish soap were provided. Private pier and property are a plus. Rowboat and paddle boat were available to use. Lovely spot on the lake.
NEGATIVES: Toilet seat was loose. Sheets on one of the beds smelled sour. No games, books or playing cards provided. No curtains on the front windows. It would be nice for there to be a handbook or binder with info on the property and area to make sure we weren't missing anything (including the myriad of fees that could be incurred of certain things were out of place, etc., which for some reason was placed in the freezer). Nightly cost was expensive.
Overall we really liked the property and the good definitely outweighed the bad.

Was a great cabin for my girlfriend and I . Was very clean and had everything were were looking for. We were able to park or boat right at the dock. And we’re also able to ride our atv right out of the driveway onto the atv routes. Also hiller vacations staff was very helpful in every way .

Peaceful great place to rest.
The cabin is really close to the lake. The easy access into cabin by key code worked great. The place was clean and and we had everything what we needed. The property manager was very helpful. We love that we had access to the paddle boat. We also had a camp fire each night. Many eagles make this place so nice. Overall, I recommend this place.

had an easy drive up and found the cottage to be clean and comfortable. Did some boat rides, biking, and hiking. One trip into Eagle River. Nice quiet evening meals with good wine. Only downside was colors had not quite peaked. Overall, very pleasant, same as last year.

This cabin was great for 2 gals who wanted to get away. The cabin is close to the lake, and the view was amazing. East Bay was so quiet, the location is great! The cabin was clean when we arrived, and easy access into the cabin by key code worked great. There are a few things that could be done to make future guests more comfortable. The bathroom shower either needs replacing or new grout. A new set of pots and pans with large lids for fry pans and a large boiling pot would be a quick fix in the kitchen. It would be nice to have blinds for privacy on the front windows in the living room to close in the evening. And as cute as the antique bed is in one of the bedrooms, the mattress was comfortable, but the large springs make a lot of noise! Restless sleepers beware... Just suggestions to the owners to improve the up north experience of future guests. Good WiFi reception, and the TV worked great. So....we would return to this rental for sure, and the location was perfect. The dock was perfect for our rental pontoon, and no steps to the lake! A slice of heaven for sure.

The sunset was amazing. We enjoyed the use of the paddle boat that was there. We also saw plenty of deer around the property and the even on the shoreline of the lake. The only thing that was disappointing was the place was not very clean. We did spend time cleaning each room. There were quite a few cobwebs. The window sills were very dirty, so we did not open any of the windows. We did use the air conditioner because it was very warm a couple of the days. We cleaned the filter in it, as it was very dirty. It is a very cute and efficient cottage, but the maintenance could have been better.

To get away from the city and to stay in a cute little cabin, on a lake in the woods was truly restful and refreshing. It was so quiet! We saw eagles flying and swooping over the lake, deer grazed at our cabin everyday and the stars were so bright it felt like one could almost touch them. We rented a fishing boat and although the fish weren't biting, we just enjoyed being on the lake watching our bobbers or riding around. The cabin was exactly as described. Clean, cute and the kitchen was well stocked with everything needed for cooking. Thank you for a rejuvenating getaway. We will definitely come again.

We decided at the last minute to come up to St. Germain and Hiller's vacation home rentals had a perfect spot for us. We've used them in the past and they have always been most accommodating. Along with my wife, son and granddaughter, we had a great time. The home was prefect for our stay. Clean, cozy and comfortable. Bass boat we rented from Hiller's was perfect and the fishing in mid August was very good. We caught bluegill, perch, crappie, walleye, bass and northern pike. We will be back next year for sure.

Sunset Bay was an excellent choice for us, clean and comfortable. All the amenities you need for a cabin getaway and more. Situated on the East Bay of Little St. Germain couldn't have been more ideal - minimal boat traffic and great fishing/swimming right off the dock. We couldn't get enough dock time, paddle-boat or row-boat time and of course firepit time! Don't feel like you have to pack all your meals, etc. to load your vehicle down, St. Germain has a grocery store about 5-10 minutes from the cabin. We always talk about buying a cabin "Up North", but why do that when you can rent (inexpensively) a great cabin like this for the few times of year you'll (honestly) use it. We'll definitely be back!

Very helpful and responsive staff when we had a need. Mark Fuller was exceptional when we had trouble with the motor we rented. The cottage was exactly as described. We were happy with our stay overall, but were disappointed that we had to go buy garbage bags (none in kitchen), paper towels (1/2 roll not enough for a week) and hand soap for the bathroom. It felt like those were things that should’ve been provided. Also, the bedroom had a strong musty smell (bought an air purifier to get through the week) and there was a dirty pair of men’s underwear under the bed.. It seemed the cleaning crew could do a better job. A friendly suggestion would be to add a clothesline of sorts outside and a coat rack or hooks in the main living area for jackets. Overall mostly happy.

Beautiful breathtaking views, sunsets and the sounds of wildlife. Great for kids and a family vacation. Enjoyed the use of row boat, paddle boat, pier for fishing and basketball hoop. We will be back for sure. Thanks

Great vacation despite a few hick ups. The description said there was internet, fireplace, dishwasher of which there were none. The sink was clogged, and many burned out light bulbs. Beds were really old and not comfy.
