Fantastic self contained apartment with sea view, comfy bed and balcony, excellent host and staff with a very personal touch and provided super support for all our holiday needs. Spiros is a real gentleman and made our holiday very special.

Perfect location: a quiet green area, away from the road; a short walk to the beach along the olive orchard; a grocery’s and a bus stop are also close, within walking distance (6-7 min). Villa Contessa offered everything I needed to “charge my batteries” Spiros welcomed me with a carafe of excellent wine, bottle of water and a welcoming note. Throughout my stay Ann took perfect care of my room: she cleaned it every day and changed towels every 2-3 days. There are all utensils one needs to make coffee, thee or a simple meal. I found a balcony a nice place to seat and relax.The bed was very comfortable. Concerning the beach it’s quiet and clean. There are two restaurants, who serve seafood, meat and delicious vegetarian dishes as well. I wish I had stayed longer.

Sorry, but I can write only what I liked. Great thanks and big hug to Spiros, Froso, two Anne’s (one from the beach restaurant), Kasim from the beach restaurant and the ladies preparing the awesome dishes for me.

Spiros is a lovely host, exuding a calm kind energy. The room had a terrace overlooking the sea, wonderful views day and evening, beautiful sunrise. Porto Kamina beach is a short walk down the hill and has everything you need- sun beds are free if you buy something from the bar, it had toilets, showers and good food available all day- bring beach shoes as getting in and out of the sea can be a bit rocky! There are several good tavernas within walking distance, and a little mini market. We didn’t have a car, and would have seen much more of the island if we had, but the little bit we did see we loved. Thank you Spiros!

Perfect accomodation, quiet and peaceful; perfect host, welcoming, always available, but discrete at the same time; amazing view; in walking distance of a little gem of a beach; great starting point to visit all the island.

We had nothing to complain about; maybe, only that we wished we could have stayed more than a week.

We loved our stay here. Spiros was a wonderful host. The apartment was great - we particularly loved the Jacuzzi at the end of a day at the beaches. It was very well equipped with everything we nee.

Everything was excellent. The location is beautiful, great view, very friendly host - thank you, Spiros for your hospitality and good advices! We recommend the tour of the island - organized trip We will come back for sure!

We liked everything.

Spiros hospitality was gold. The view from the room was breathtaking and the room was spotless clean.The Villa is only 5-10 minutes away from the beach. There is a mini market nearby with all the essentials, from food to toiletries, household items and local honey and oil. There are also a few tavernas nearby, including two bars at the beach, where to have breakfast, lunch and dinner.The beach is lovely, away from mass tourism, with nice umbrellas and sunbeds, and clear water. Other beaches nearby can also be reached by car or taxi, like Porto Zoro and Porto Azzurro, Kalamaki and Gerakas. I have uploaded a few pictures of Kaminia Beach.

Nothing, really, but if I have to be picky, the shower was a little small. The road to the beach can be a little steep on the way back, but not difficult.

Fantastic accomodation. Whirpool with view on the beautiful ionic sea. Perfect to enjoy sunrises.

Perfect and calm place to stay outside loud cities. The view is amazing, balcony is top spot for every evening! Spiros is one of the bests hosts we've met, very kind and helpful, big thanks to him! We had much information from him about the island top places. Room was spacious, clean with very comfortable beds, always clean. Equipped kitchen with most needed things. If coming back to Zakynthos, without any doubt will choose this place again!

- lovely owner Spiros. Who helps with advices about places to visit at Zakynthos, brings a nice local product every day to try (jam, wine etc.) and is always there to help. - the spa! It’s gorgeous. - the location is perfect. Only a 15-minute drive from the airport. It’s a quiet area, with enough places to eat/drink at walking distance and a small supermarket nearby (5-minute walk). Kaminia beach is only a 1-minute drive down to the coast and is perfect for people with children (play-area), but als for people without children (free beds, affordable good food).

We loved our stay at Villa Contessa. On arrival, we were welcomed and showed to our room - stunning views of the Ionian Sea from the balcony. The apartments were peaceful, clean and extremely well kept. A 5 minute walk either up or down the hill and you could be in one of a number of local tavernas or in the beautiful sea. This was the perfect start to our short break! Thank you!

Lovely apertments with the best view. It was so nice to enjoy our breakfast with this view every morning. Fully equipped kitchen. Supermarket, beach (with free sunbeds) and a couple tavernas in walking distance. Great location to explore the south of the island by car. Free parking. Spiros is also a really nice host and really cares about that everything is perfect for you.

The only thing that could be improved (in the studios) is the shower. The floor was really wet after showering caused by the design of the shower. But it dried really quickly so we didn’t really mind.

Very very mini shower!! The air conditioning, and phone charger etc. cannot work when leaving the room!

Spiros, the host, is a great guy. He was always there when ever we needed something. The first day he showed us the most important/beautiful things to see on the island, which was more helpful than our travel guide. The apartment is well equipped and also invites to longer stays. All in all a more than a successful vacation. If we visit zakynthos again, then we will book this apartment again.

There were a few noticeable things that let us know it wasn't as clean as we would have liked. However, it would not prevent us from booking this flat again immediately.

Everything was perfect. The apartment was clean, cozy. The view from the terrace is fantastic! Very quiet surrounding. Located 5 - 15 minutes away from several beaches. The host is friendly and very helpful.

Amazing view from the balcony,the jacuzzi is perfect for relaxing at night.

There were no shampoo and body soap.

Villa contessa is nicely located, the property very clean and staff super nice. We had a room upstairs with a killing view ! Spiros was very nice and available. We even got homemade figue marmalade and a litt’e souvenir from Zakynthos when we left. The lady cleaning the room doesn’t speak English but we managed and she took good care of our room, always neat 🙂 Overall our stay was fantastic due to the decor and staff especially Spiros. I would definitely recommend it !

Amazing view from the cliff to the sea. Spiros is a great host! We had a good time!

The accommodation was really fantastic, very clean and lovingly furnished. In addition the room was cleaned daily. The apartments were not exactly on the beach, but had an incredible view of the sea. Furthermore, everything seemed to be very well looked after and cared for. Spiros the host was very good-natured and helped with every little thing. He also surprised again and again with self-made presents. The accommodation is a bit remote, otherwise definitely worth a stay!

Spiros is a very friendly host. Even gave us some really good homemade marmelade. Very kind. Location is good: it’s quiet and peaceful, but not too far from nice places to visit, if you have a car.
