Tutto assolutamente perfetto, stanza grande, luminosa con bella vista sulla chiesa/castello. Letti estremamente confortevoli, bagno grande e con vasca/doccia e, molto ma molto aprezzato, il bidet, che da solo vale una valutazione 11 ! Colazione abbondante per quantità, qualità e assortimento, ottima la frutta fresca pronta da mangiare. Personale accogliente, cortese e simpatico.

La macchina del caffè expresso, fa un ottimo caffè (come si intende in Italia), però non è facile da usare, tuttavia il personale di sala aiuta e insegna.

We just used the hotel for an overnight between Lisbon and the Algarve. The location was perfect for that. The staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent. The room was clean. The beds were extremely comfortable. The bathroom was beginning to show its age, but functional.We didn't use any of the facilities, so can't comment on those. We were able to park in the small car park outside the hotel. Our room had a view towards the sea in the distance and a historical building.

Nothing really to report. Although, check there's a kettle in your room (if you want one) at check - in. There wasn't in ours, but they brought one to us right away....but, as we later found out, there were no cups either 😊

Rooms were large and comfy. Great location.

Very clean and good basic facilities. A bit similar to a budget chain hotel such as Premier Inn or Ibis but with a less corporate and more local experience. Breakfast is good but not lavish. The bar is operated ‘ad hoc’ by reception staff. There is no restaurant. Location is ok, a 15 minute walk from the central bus station. There is a large supermarket, with a cafe, opposite for essentials. There is a rustic Portuguese style restaurant very close, ‘O Arco’, it’s very cheap but beside a petrol station! Any other restaurants require the walk into town. Mercado a Mesa is recommended. Good ambiance and decent food, but not too expensive. Overall, very good value hotel but not “atmospheric”. If, like us, you are walkers, or just passing through, then we’ve stayed on two separate occasions and would return.

The location was very accessible and the room was very modern, spacious and comfortable - the spa bath in the room and bathrobe were a bonus! Yay! I was impressed by the hotel's outside appearance in comparison with the room. Well done on the refurb, guys!

The swimming pool closing time at 8pm seems to me waaay to early considering the Portuguese life style. And the breakfast was a bit of a let down - prepacked pastries, croissants and one day old bread was a big no no. No veggies, no eggs, not a sufficient breakfast for many....

at breakfast there was a lady that walked by our table being really unpleasant (possibly didn’t realised that we understood Portuguese) and that was immediately a set back. people assume things without talking to the customers and asking first, being completely unpleasant and with a “can’t be bothered attitude”. regardless, the hotel although clean is way to expensive for the conditions provided and the size/functionality of the rooms.
