if there was a door to the shower room it would have been much better. if a person is sleeping and the other one is showering then he could wake up because of the shower sound,

Location is super - fashion district, all bars and cool places are around in walking distance. Super for shipping. Cool 24h entrance and super extra cool lounge on 4th floor for r&r.

This hotel is right across the street from Museum Mayor van der Bergh and also Le Pristine Restaurant. Both are superb ( if you like Medieval art / musuem, and enjoy creatively excellent fine dining /the restaurant). The hotel staff were so friendly and helpful. They served us coffee and a biscuit/cookie when we were tired. The rooms use space very well, and have super huge windows that can either let in light or not as you wish. The decor is quite stylish rather Mid-century modern , clean and sleek. Beds are very comfortable. Only the shower had not door, but still we'd stay there again in a heartbeat.

when we showered the water got all over the floor... but that was minor compared to everything else positive.

The location is very convenient at the center of the city and in a quiet area. The staff is friendly and willing to assist.

The decoration of our room was not like the pictures on booking and was not similar as the pictures. The rooms were not well cleaned, there was a lot of dust, for example in the hair dryer. Also, there was limescale on the floor of the shower and on the bath surfaces.

Great location

My room was close to the restaurant and the kitchen. A smell wouldn’t leave the room despite opening the window and there were noises late in the evening and early in the morning (before 6). The rain shower head didn’t get any water due to a loosely connected pipe so had to use the small handshower. And in checking out the gentleman at the reception couldn’t find my payment record of the evening before.

the toilet room was a bit too small. the shower didn’t have a door so some water would splash outside a bit.

great location, comfortable beds

no coffee/tea in the room, no safe. our room was on the 4th floor opposite reception and that caused extra noise not only during the day but also early morning and late at night.

loved the lobby lounge, furnishings and the use of loose leaf tea.

no wash basin in toilet room. room was not ready as twin on arrival. beds needed replacing. seals around bath needs replacing. the glass tables at are all cracked and need replacing. no bubble bath was provided. none available at reception.
