We liked everything, the first impression was ( WOW ) beautiful Hotel from outside, and inside was impressive , clean beautiful with style and class. The photos attached still don't show the same vision , as seeing the hotel in person. My wife and I have travelled a lot around the world, and the ( Hotel Majestic Saigon ) would be one of the best. Greeted at the door by staff, who directed us to the check-In counter. ( Even the staff are dressed with style ) my wife pointed out the very stylish black dress worn by the female staff was elegant . Our room was clean and stylish, an absolute pleasure. Breakfast restaurant was clean well set out, great selection of foods to choose from, the staff again were without fault, always a smile and helpful. Even when were checking out , the staff made sure we had a transfer to the airport, check out was fast and easy, All with a smile and kindness. When we return to Saigon next year, we don't have to look for a Hotel , as we will defiantly return to the ( Hotel Majestic Saigon ) Thank you to all the staff and and team at the Hotel that made our stay a pleasure. See you next time.

Le fait que l’hôtel soit un monument historique de Saigon, la vue sur le fleuve

Le style chinois de l’hôtel (beaucoup de matériaux métalliques et dorés)… pas mon style. Les lustres sont horribles. L’ascenseur est à reprendre complètement La tenue noire des employés est triste à mourir. Bref, il faut reprendre la déco complètement

Second stay at Majestic, although a number of years in between. Old classic Hotel with character (in a good way). Easy walk to market and surrounding streets. Plenty of shopping within walking distance.

Nice rooms, pool and building. Great breakfast on top floor overlooking river.

The breakfast selection was excellent. The suite was very spacious. The location was central to walking attractions. The tour advice to the Mekong Delta was good.

The doona covers on the bed were too hot

Beds were really hard like sleeping on a cardboard box. Staff keep hassling you to buy drinks. Like they were going to kick you out if you didn’t

Our room was supposed to have a balcony, but doesn’t really have one. To reach the room we go by an outside corridor, on the inside of the building, and that is what they consider the balcony. But is not private, doesn’t have a chair or table. Also is via that door that we entreter the room. The room is quite dark. The electricity switches work in a strange way. The bathroom is old, a five star hotel should have an old fabric shower curtain.

Grand hotel with lots of history. Excellent location and facilities - pool spa and stylish roof top bar with live music.

Nothing really to criticise here - it's really about whether you want the history and the facilities or a more contemporary boutique style.

Great hotel, but poor maintenance

The location is very central and quiet, which is surprising considering it is next to a main road. The staff are really helpful and friendly.

Rooms are large but quite dated.

Bath tub too high for average Asian. The catering service is not as good as before ( few years ago with daily buffet dinner)

Friendly, professional staff. The hotel has that old charm and elegance that I personally look for. Beautiful view from the bar and excellent breakfast.

The one thing that is a downside for me is I noticed shark fin soup on the menu. With what we know now of this cruel practice, this would prevent me from staying at The Majestic again. I am sure that this hotel has a talented chef and crew which could create an array of other choices. I would love to stay there again but I can't as long as that's on the menu.

Grand colonial hotel with decor inside to match. Gone of the best buffet breakfasts with everything you need and a view of the river while you eat. We also had happy hour cocktails on the roof top with views of the river as well. Our room was very spacious and a grand bathroom. Location good but a 10 min walk to the main areas, not really an issue for us. Airport transfer was great, picked up in a Mercedes.

We didn't realise we booked an i side view room so no windows facing outside which was disappointing but should have checked more carefully.

Staff super friendly and helpful. Beautiful and large room with exceptionally comfortable bed. Very clean. Food standard consistently excellent both at breakfast and in rooftop restaurant. The rooftop restaurant and bar gorgeous view. The staff arranged tickets for shows and a trip for us with great efficiency.

Breakfast was a little disappointing; Only Asian options that were not very sophisticated or tasty. No cold cuts or cheese. Danish pastries and croissant of port quality

breakfast was excellent as well as the location of the restaurant, location of the hotel absolutely perfect though quite heave traffic in the afternoons , unfortunately also on the pavement next to the exit. Room was cosy, very clean and comfortable. The only issue was quite a loud air-condition , which broke at the certain point (but was repaired quickly). Staff, room service - very helpful, professional, and nice.

Hotel & staff are nice

Hotel is a bit overpriced compare to the room quality, the place looks quite old & the city view is just view on aircon systems. We had a nice stay but were probably expected too much
