Difficile d'accéder à l'hôtel en véhicule. Il se trouve dans une zone piétonne. Il faut d'abord se stationner au parking de la place.
Le ville pourrait au minimum mettre des panneaux qui signalent les hôtels.
Pas d'effort du personnel pour parler le français.

Die Lage direkt in der Altstadt mit den Restaurants. Die Möglichkeit in der Altstadt und somit in der Nähe des Hotels eine Parkmöglichkeit zu finden
Das Personal hat sich in deren Pause unter meinem Fenster laut unterhalten, sodaß mein Fenster geschlossen gehalten werden musste. Bei den Temperaturen nicht sehr angenehm

The location is best for eateries and in adjacent to the castle.
If you arrive by car using GPS for location you won’t find it because it is in a pedestrian only area. You must park about a half a km away & walk with your bags - which is easy & OK if it isn’t raining.
The beds were rock hard & the air conditioning kept switching off during the night.
No soap bar; no tissues; no USB ports.
Shower curtain - rather than screen.

We made the mistake of booking in the main square, and staying on a Saturday night. It was very noisy til 3am and we were unable to open a window because of this.

Didn't like anything about this hotel.
I take full responsibility because I booked in a hurry and chose the hotel on its location. I should have checked the room size and also some of the negative comments from previous guests.
The room was very small and very dark.
The view from the window was laughable (see pic attached).
A disinterested receptionist tried to upsell a better room (apparently they do have some).
We considered cutting our losses and checking out and booking a better hotel but decided to stick it out. On reflection, we should have just left as we spent a very uncomfortable cramped night. It has put us off ever visiting Ponferrada again or using the Aroi chain in the future. Once bitten…..etc
We paid a little over €60 and this was probably about €30 too much.
