The property was nice and the staff was welcoming. The location was also very convenient, was from walking distance from plaza that included restaurants, shops, and over all a sweet and happy environment.

We had several issues when using the bathroom. Sometimes when we needed a shower, the water would not want to turn on. Please keep in mind we were a group of four, all waiting our turn to cleanse ourselves, the bare minimum. So, we had to wait till the water came back on just to bathe and get on out the door to go sight-seeing. Also, not really a major issue, but everyday the breakfast was the exact same thing: scrambled eggs and sausages with some papaya or cantaloupe. Every. Single. Day. By the end of our trip, we were sick of it and itching to get back home and eat a nice, healthy meal.

The breakfast was amazing, delicious, and abundant. Also, the rooms were nice and every day the housekeeping lady did a great job, the receptionist and Andres the (night shift guy) were very friendly.

The room was near to the jacuzzi machines, so the loud created by them affected us a little bit. About the room, because of its location, it was very dark, but beds were very good.

The breakfast was traditional and very delicious. Fresh fruits, Caldo de Costilla, fresh juices, eggs, bread, different types of meats, coffee, aromática tea, and so much more. The location is about 3 blocks from the town center, and its a very cute walk.

My only complaint is that the bed was a little uncomfortable, it was 2 beds pushed together and the crack between was a bit annoying.

Room was not what we ordered on booking. No mini fridge but they brought us one. WiFi was problematic because we had to work online while there. Definitely need mosquito netting. Pool was not clean. The whole place was very run-down. Sorry.

The advertising says it has sauna and jacuzzi and it is not true.

All in all it is an ok-hotel not in the city centre but relativly close (10 minute walk).

The staff was at best average. They obviously treated us differently than Colombians. For example, the staff offered extra soup (caldo and changua) in the morning to the colombian families but not to us. At the second night there was a party next to our room in the hotels event hall until late at night, nobody did tell us before. I complaint about the noise and they gave us another, much nicer and less noisy room though they did not say that they were sorry or offered anything at all. All in all, an ok-stay but overpriced. Would try a hostels-private room next time as they are less expensive and staff usually is a lot more dedicated.
