Good location for the airport, free airport shuttle, 24h reception, possibility to leave luggage there for free

Room was very warm and humid, beds were very loud and old, nothing else in the room apart from beds

There is a bar on the rooftop that has a beautiful view and the food was very good and not that expensive. Also the shuttle to the airport was very reliable.

I have never in my life experienced a staff member being this rude and disrespectful. We were given wrong information at the airport and were confused about having to pay the shuttle. When we tried communicating with the receptionist he shut us down and talked in a very rude way to us. He told us that it is not his problem and interrupted us in a very aggressive tone. When I pointed this out he attacked me about having to lower my voice and not talk to him. After that I was on the verge of a panic attack, trying not to loose it. Ruined our whole night because I was shaky and anxious for the rest of our stay. And there was almost no WIFI in the rooms. The Check-Ins for our flights took forever.

Airport shuttle was great, they dropped me off for my flight, though they don't pick up at the airport if you've not flown there. The free coffee was nice. Wifi also good. It's a good location in the middle of Alajuela.

The advertised restaurant was closed and apparently had also been the previous night, also the bar was closed. I arrived in the evening so hadn't planned to go and search Alajuela for a restaurant at night after a long day of travel. Having a restaurant and bar was literally the reason I booked this hostel but they told me every Monday it was shut. I wonder why they don't put this on the website, it just leads to disappointment since people generally just stay one night flying in and out.

Staff very accommodating

The location is good for the airport and they arranged to pick me up from the airport at short notice even though they normally require 24 hours notice which was really good of them.

There was only 2 power sockets in a room of 10 beds.

Staff was very nice. Very near the airport. Nice place. Very cheap. Nice lobby, restaurant with a nice balcony and view.

No big lockers. Quite dark. Front door wsn't locked, but rooms have electronic keys.

Great value for money and obviously brilliant access to the airport. The staff were very friendly and helpful. If you need a quick stop before or after a flight just to sleep then this hostel is perfect. The beds were SO COMFY, though the ladder swung around quite a bit.

The shower wouldn't heat up and there were no lockers in the room.
