The caring host, her parrot dogs and garden, the cleanliness, the spacious rooms and bathroom, the modern interior of the otherwise aristocratic villa, the gated parking, the bakery around the corner...

Location was good for taking the ferry to Corsica, and the building was nice on the outside

Shared bathroom among 4 rooms, not very well furnished, staff was not very flexible and patient (i cannot understand why in 2022 you can still impose a check-in time of 6-7 PM. No breakfast alternatives offered to lack of regular breakfast. This place should not be classified as a bed&breakfast facility given the level of service.

Mold in the toilet. You cannot check in until 6pm. No response, when trying to contact owners.

Beautiful house and wonderful hostess. Free parking in a closed yard. A beautiful garden with a seating area. It was very quiet and cozy.

Property was reasonably close to transit lines and within walking distance of main attractions. If you want to kill yourself and an authentic Italian neighborhood, this place may be for you.

The check in times were quite restrictive you had to check in between 6 PM and 10 PM and be out of the place by 10 AM. The hostess was mostly kind. She let me store my bag until my train, and change my clothes. It will be challenging for someone who does not necessarily want to share a bathroom with six or seven other people. However, the price is quite reasonable and everything went smoothly.

Felt about as welcome as a t*** in a swimming pool. Check in is after 1800hrs?? Left standing in the rain for 30 minutes waiting for the host to open the gate. First night spent listening to a car alarm going off every 4 minutes. Second night woken by guests bringing their friends back at 4am for a chat!!!! Host seemed desperate for me to leave before 10am and even knocked my door at 9am. Won't be returning.

Great location (very close to the port), big room and bathroom, clean, helpful host.

The bathroom is not connected to the bedroom and there was no breakfast.

The location was convenient for me because near to my job. It's not far from downtown Livorno e the nearby LamBlue bus line takes you to the seafront. The owner is very kind. The bedroom is large with heating (it's winter now) and air conditioning. The bathroom is outside the bedroom but very close. Everything is absolutely clean. I enjoyed my stay at the Arena Alfieri B&B.
