we went to a concert, so for that purpose the location was perfect (we walk there), clean, comfortable, place to park our car.

The hotel staff was very friendly an accommodating considering the issues we had.

The first room they checked us into was absolutely filthy. The toilet still had pieces of feces near the rim, some funk on the seat, and the room smelled of must and mildew. The staff informed us that the cleaning person was new and switched our room. The next room was cleaner however, it smelled like someone had been smoking in the room prior to us checking in. The hotel is attached to an event center which had a party going on until nearly 1 AM and it was difficult to fall asleep.

Walking distance to "Die Kantine", our actual destination for a concert... only 10 minutes walking or so. Although the hotel had a wedding party going on in the saloon, the rooms were still quiet. The rooms looked impeccable , clean and modern. We went running and the Rhein-River is not far at all so for runners was a great spot to get to a nice running path.

Breakfast was actually ok, but since we came relatively late some things were finished and it did not look like they were replenishing anything... we still had enough to eat, but it just looked like it was running out. When we arrive, although there were planty of parking spaces in the hotel and in the street, they were all full due to the wedding going on in the hotel, so we had to park a little bit further than expected (but still for free).

Very clean and good value for money, the lady from the reception was very helpful and the Chinese lady from the reception was very happy to help with nice smile, 5 star customer service.

no real dinner place and located in an industrial area a bit further away from towns. wifi connection could have been a bit better, but hey it is free of charge.

Good price, comfortable room

Facilities were clean and modern, and personnel were kind and attentive. though we didn’t have the chance to have the breakfast, I considere that the price for it is accessible. Rooms were spacious and had all that you can find in more expensive hotels.

The location of the hotel is quite far from downtown (In Niehl) and it’s in an industrial zone. However, there’s a tram / metro station 5 minutes away that takes you to the downtown or other main areas in less than 20 minutes.

I chose an option with right to cancel the room. I planned to stay 3 nights but had to make it shorter, made it 2 nights. The hotel staff said you can’t cancel your last night! I said I paid more just because I wasn’t sure to stay 2 nights or 3 nights. But she didn’t listen and just said that we have already been charged by booking.com and can’t cancel your last night! I paid for 3 nights and sayed 2 nights!!!
