The view is exceptional! The standard room was way more comfortable than expected. I liked the interior design. The breakfast was tasty and the staff was very friendly.

I didn't like that the pool is next to the outside area of the restaurant - no privacy was given. It could be much more beautiful when the furniture etc would be newer and maybe higher plants next to the pool... Also, I've missed a water kettle in the room. The way to the hotel is also not for everybody:D

My stay at Hotel Paradiso was exceptional - the team at the hotel was so friendly and responsive - even helping us with transport options to Brunate prior to check in. They were also very responsive via email which was helpful, especially as first time travellers to Italy. Everyone at the hotel was also really helpful with travel tip and activities in Brunate. The hotel room was perfect, with beautiful views of Lake Como and exceptionally clean and comfortable. I would highly recommend a stay at Hotel Paradiso !

It was a bit far from the funicular. It would have been good to know in advance that it would have been possible to get a ride from funicular station to the hotel.

View on the lake

- The way from Como is horrible - 30-40 minutes driving uphill with narrow 1 lane roads, need to Maneouvere creatively when a car is coming in front of you. - Room was dirty - walls were scratched, mould in the shower, exposed electrical wires - life hazard! - Staff were just said "speak with booking.com". Not even apologies for the condition of the room.

They told us we cant use the jaccuzi as a guest once you check out at 12. Its the first time earinh this from a hotel, we were guest for 2 days so after 12pm cant use the pool or jaccuzi while the pool was too cold to use during our stay and the jaccuzi was used by other guest before 12pm (check out time) . It dont think its fair ! Since ae came for that could not take my beautiful pictures in the pool or the jaccuzi. The restaurant menu is kind of expensive and close super early ( 8pm). they should have let us known about this rule before. other than that the staff was really nice:)

It's great that Hotel Paradiso offers free shuttle to the Brunate - Como funicular from morning to evening, it makes the travelling down to Como much easier and convenient! The staff is great, and the view is amazing!

Very welcoming and friendly staff (including the puppies!). Stunning lake view from the room, pool and jacuzzi. The restaurant had beautiful food with a range of choices. Excellent shuttle service from the funicular to the hotel, provided for free.

The location is great but there isn't much to do in Brunate itself. The lighthouse provides brilliant views, there is a lovely walk down to the center with viewpoints along the way. After that, just expect to have to get the funicular down to Como for more options.

not so much didn’t like but really should have done more research on location as it was a pretty hairy car journey up! also it was a shame the pool was closed as it was the reason we chose this hotel over others.
