Rooms were clean. Nice to have a lift. Nice breakfast provided. Good location for shops and old part of Brussels.
Some updating needs to be done to decor. Pillows were very uncomfortable.

Close to transport,shopping and supermarket.
A well furnished, large spotlessly clean room that was serviced daily. A good breakfast was included.
Unfortunately it is on a busy road so traffic noise was a problem so one needs to ask for a room off the street. The bed was terrible, a foam mattress, really uncomfortable.

Zimmer und Bad waren sauber. Wasserkocher, Tee und Kaffee. Minibar und Gläser.
Lage ist gut. Alle Sehenswürdigkeiten sind gut fußläufig zu erreichen. Direkte Metrolinie vom/ zum Gare du Midi.
Das Hotel ist sehr in die Jahre gekommen. Alte Möbel, Teppichboden. Wirkt altbacken. Fön im Bad ist ein Witz. Die Fenster waren derart schmutzig, dass man kaum rausgucken konnte.
Das Frühstücksbuffet war unteres Niveau. Nicht mal Croissants und Baguette schmeckten. Aufschnitt und 1 Sorte Käse aus der Packung. Rührei ohne jeden Geschmack. Wo war die gute belgische Küche??

It is a hotel from the past- like a great aunt who shows up at a family dinner. Slightly worn, dated furnishings. But clean and. Comfortable and a very good value in Brussels.
It is in a noisy place. Sirens, street noise. But it’s in the midsts of Brussels. It is what it is. Not an issue.

The property was near the train station and the staff was very friendly.
The room was pretty dated and the wifi did not work well. There was also not a way to lock the door from the inside. As a solo traveler I would have felt safer being able to lock the door from the inside.

Very kind and helpful staff. Nicely clean room. Perfect location and delicious breakfast. Highly recommended!!

Breakfast was ok. Location is good. I like the view from our room, I felt relax looking into it while having a coffee after a long day of walking around the neighborhood.
It could be better if they will provide/check if there is at least 4 sachets of instant coffee in the room.

good location, just near a metro station. Friendly staff: we had a problem with the heating system of the room and they immediately gave us another larger and more confortable room
it's an old building (dated 1902) and it really need to be renewed: for example there no electric plugs near the bed and you cannot recharge the phone on the night stand. Boulevard du Jardin Botanique is main road with a lot of traffic, also during the night quite noisy.

Very pleasant staff. Loved the retro feel of the hotel. Big selection for breakfast. Great location.
Limited tv channels and elevator was temperamental, luckily there was a second elevator. The restaurant area seemed to be closed apart from breakfast time. I may have had a few drinks there.

There is no tap to buy vending. There are not many choices in the vending machine.
