the hotel is located in the backpacker area. that means there are many options for food and drinks and party around. the orchid is as calm as possible in this buzzing area. And the staff especially Lin are super nice and helpful without being intrusive.

it can be a bit noisy at night. but I don’t think you will find a quieter place in this area.

The Orchid Hotel is perfectly centered in Hue to make you best out of your stay in this town. Perfect breakfast 😋 with all what your heart desires Laura was very helpful with logistics, laundry, and organizing day excursion in the surroundings.

The staff were exceptional, especially Ruby (who made our transfer arrangements), Lin (who took care of us during our stay)and the night staff who made us a takeaway breakfast when we had an early flight.

Be aware that there is a lot of noise from the nightclub next door into the early hours.

Professional and friendly staff especially Lin who made our stay most pleasant. Room facilities were comprehensive and first class. Breakfast was ordered from a menu so came hot and fresh. Items not on the menu could also be ordered.

Li and the staff were so welcoming. They went out of their way to make our stay pleasant. The location is right amongst the entertainment district (bars, restaurant, etc. ) and walkable to the citadel.. The room was very comfortable. The jacuzzi was pretty nice too in our 7th floor room.

There was a club next door that played techno nearly 24/7. We first thought it was a New Years Eve exception but it was a constant during our stay. The relentless doof permeated the walls. You could get by with ear plugs but the persistent thumping heavy dance music went beyond the general evening bar chatter and music I had expected. The lack of silence in our room at any point over our three-day stay kinda wore me down which is unfortunate as it's not the hotel's fault and everything else about the hotel was great.

The hotel was conveniently located close to the main attractions. Good size rooms.

The hotel location is close to the party street. It is noisy on the weekends.

Serena, Linh and all the staff were excellent throughout our stay. We were greeted by Serena who gave us a great insight into the things to do in Hue and how to organize them with her. She had lots of recommendations for us which was great. Breakfast every morning was fantastic and the location was brilliant, could not recommend this hotel enough.

We received welcome fruits and a very detailed plan about the city as we arrived to check-in. Especially Laura and Serena helped us very much with our booking to travel on. They were really competent and had a good knowledge. The personal was really helpful and accommodating. The breakfast was very yummy and there was a lot (western) food to order a la carte. The service of this hotel was excellent!

The room is very clean, spacious and cosy. Especially I did appreciate the staff of the hotel. They are all very helpful, nice and professional.

The staff went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. They advised us on sights to visit, food to try, even provided us with refreshments and fresh towels/shower while we had already checked out and were waiting for a flight later. I've never felt so welcomed by hotel staff

We booked the "romantic room", but out of the 2 romantic rooms only one has this funky round bed as features on the photos

The staff at the Orchid are exceptional, always eager to help and made a number of reservations and arrangements for us to see the sites we wanted to visit. The breakfast, which was included, was also very good and included a range of choices. Staff also provided juice when we returned from a tour to sit with us and see how it went. Thanks to all of them for our wonderful time in Hue. If we come back we will see you again. The hotel is also on one of the walking streets so Fri-Sun the street is closed to traffic in the evenings making it ever more pleasant.

The air conditioning was adequate but could have been cooler and the building is a bit dated but still very comfortable. Any need we had was addressed quickly.
