Gute Lage, schöne Dachterrasse mit Swimmingpool . Zimmer hintenraus ziemlich ruhig. Das ganze Hotel ist stylisch wunderschön eingerichtet.

Tagsüber Baustelle nebenan. Dafür kann das Hotel nichts.

I found the entry steps a little tricky.

Lao Poet is situated on a quiet side street, within easy walking distance of numerous restaurants & shops. Come out of the hotel, turn left, left again & just up the road on the LHS is a night food market 👌 The hotel is modern, with interesting, traditional touches. Our room was a good size & the air conditioning worked well. We enjoyed using the sauna & the pool, after a day out sightseeing. We ate breakfast at the hotel during our stay & enjoyed the Lao feu, yummy 😋 The staff were friendly & two stood out - the lady Operations Manager (so sorry we didn't get your name) & Lam, on the front desk, who went above & beyond the call of duty by arranging for a parcel to be forwarded to our next hotel.

Elegantly decorated from top to bottom, fabulous location with amazing views from the rooftop bar. We stayed here twice during our Laos holiday and if we ever return wouldn’t hesitate to stay again. The staff are exceptional- especially Zack and Lam who went out of their way to assist us throughout our travels. Thank you to all at Lao Poet

This is our third visit to the Laos Poet Hotel and it will not be our last. The rooms are serene and spacious with enormous bathrooms . The food is very good and reasonably priced. The staff are outstanding-nothing is too much trouble and they are particularly adept at securing train tickets at busy times of the year. I think this is a wonderful boutique hotel and highly recommend it .

Welcoming friendly staff who gave us a map and info about the town and some recommendations for some funky little cocktail bars which were awesome!! Lao Poet is a peaceful and beautifully appointed boutique hotel that ticked all our boxes. The swimming pool and bar on the roof to watch the sunset over the Mekong River was an added bonus!

Comfortable hotel that mostly meets its four-star standard. The location is great - in the centre of Vientiane with lots of excellent food options within walking distance. Pool was beautiful, particularly at sunset. Staff were very helpful. Beds comfortable and very clean room. I liked the decor and didn’t mind the mood lighting.

The shower - hot water service more specifically. Comes out scorching hot and then when you turn it down for warm it goes cold, so you go through this cycle about five times in a regular shower length. Very frustrating. Common issue in SE Asia I found, so not just this hotel, but at this price point you at least expect a decent shower.

Wir haben im Lao Poet Hotel eine Nacht als Stop-over in Vientiane verbracht und können es empfehlen. Das Zimmer war großzügig und sauber. Es gab ein sehr gutes Frühstück und das Hotel hat für uns den Transfer vom Flughafen und zum Bahnhof organisiert.

Sehr zentrale Lage. Nachtlicht im Zimmer, WC. Grosses Zimmer. Schnelles, gutes WLan. Personal freundlich.

WC rinnnt, überschwemmt den Boden. Dusche entweder ganz heiss, oder kalt. Zimmer dunkel. Ausser einem kleinen Tischchen, keine Abstellflächen. 2 Steckdosen. Frühstückauswahl mässig. Nur eine Sorte Brot.

Een erg fijn hotel met goed engels sprekend personeel. Tijden de incheck krijg je een fijne uitleg en wordt er echt de tijd voor de genomen. De kamers zien er fantastisch uit en straalt een luxe uit. Zeker een aanrader waar je warm wordt onthaald.

Our absolute favorite hotel in Vientiane. Love the athmosphere of the hotel. Rooms are spacious and nicely decorated. Good wifi. Loved the rooftop swimmingpool and sauna and very good central location. We always stay here and will definitely come back!

Lao Poet is perfectly located to visit Vientiane's main tourist attractions, cafés, and restaurants. The rooms are spacious and originally decorated, and the overall infrastructure is fine. When returning from visits or walks, the rooftop pool and sitting area is a real plus. The staff are willing and try to go the extra mile to communicate in English, but expect occasional challenges in getting your message across.

Location is great. Staff is helpful. Deco is good better in real life than in the pictures on booking. Overall good

The shower was not really good, a lot of water everywhere in the bathroom floor.

The staff is very friendly, polite and helpful. The hotel is located in the area where all the little cafés and restaurants are, so it is very convenient. Highlights: fantastic bathroom and rooftop bar!

The hotel was very clean and breakfast was good with wide variety. Location was excellent not far from presidential palace and other locations .
