Beautiful village, quaint and quiet. Room was large and pretty. Lots of extras, but I'm not spoiling the surprises. You're going to have to book it to believe it!

It was beautifully furnished, 100% clean and comfortable. It was very kind of the lady to let us have breakfast the next day at a time we chose.

It would have been good to mention that the apartment address was a short walk from the address on the booking. This was a bit intimidating to start with! But I apologise, the owner had tried to email and whatsapp me but i hadnt received either because of being on a foreign phone network.

The apartment was immaculate and beautifully decorated. The town itself was lovely with great artisanal shops. Great place to stay to explore the area. Wish we could have stayed a few more days.

The mattress was a bit hard for my taste , but everything else was great. :)

Wonderful location in the historic part 9of the town. Loved the fact that is was so easy to find free parking. Also loved taking my dog for a walk along the old city walls.

The breakfast was a bit sparse.

Valerie was such a lovely warm and welcoming host, communication was very good and check in was an easy and straightforward process. The house was spacious and could easily accommodate two families. It is very well equipped. Parking was easy. The beds were very comfortable and the bed linen of high quality. The bathroom on the middle floor was very nicely presented and huge! We really enjoyed our breakfast in the restaurant, there had been a lot of love and attention put into the Christmas decorations, they were superb and it was really atmospheric and beautiful! The breakfast was very very good, there was a superb selection of local French cheeses, that were delicious!!! We would like to return and also have a dinner in the lovely restaurant.

What a wondefull place in the middle of the small town of Bergues. We were travelling back to Germany from England. We had booked a room and also a table in the restaurant in advance. Street parking was no problem at all. A lovely old house but with modern facilities marvelously decorated by Valerie with much love and good taste. Everything was perfect and of the best quality. Bed, linen, bathroom with modern shower, towels and bathrobes. Also a very good class restaurant with quality food and reasonable prices. The breakfast was also excellent with baguettes, croissants, bread, fresh fruit, joghurt, home made jams etc. and real french coffee. All very good quality. Next time we will surely stay longer!

The room was supremely comfortable and there were lots of nice little extras. We ate in the restaurant downstairs which was very good. The town had more to offer than we expected in terms of its heritage.
