Right by the beach and close to Trecco Bay, just what I needed, will be back if Planet Rock do another show there next year.

Very noisy guests in the room next door coming back drunk from the pubs at 1.30am. Obviously no fault of the proprietor, but it was annoying.

Location was fantastic, clean and comfortable

Excellent location for the music festival at Trecco Bay and cheaper and easier than staying there. Only 15 mins walk along the seafront. Microwave and fridge in the room a nice touch, although I only used the fridge. Landlord Les very helpful, even when I showed up early! Don't be put off by the scary looking dog... not scary at all but a big floof called Lord. No car park but plenty of free parking outside.

Duvets are very thin. Fine for our hot summer but not really winter fare ( it was Dec) but luckily I'd packed my fleece pj's. Not a problem for me but the steps at the front are quite big and steep which could be a problem for some older or impared guests. No breakfast included but I ate at Trecco Bay all weekend anyway. Otherwise there a good pub/restaurant round the corner.

Beds were comfy, shower was very good, had fridge and microwave in room which is ideal when working away, the staff were brilliant very welcoming and helpful, I would definitely stay again

TV didn't have many working channels, due to signal in area so not there fault

Bayside was a hidden gem, placed right next to the sea, a nice bar round the corner and some of the best fish and chips shops you’ll find, the staff greeted us and showed an interest. the room was comfortable with a kettle and tea and coffee. the bathrooms although shared were very clean and well respected by guests. the road is quiet. if I’m ever working in the area again I will be booking there !! as I travel a lot for work all over the uk I stay in a lot of hotels, I’ve paid more than double and been half as comfortable. I recommend 100%.

Right in the middle of everything 2 mins from the beach Safe and fridge in the room

Never saw another human done over a ring doorbell but he did say he was sorry he missed us. Quite expensive for having to share a bathroom although they were all lovely and clean My husband who is a plumber says there was a smell of drains throughout the place and we slept with the window open and the sink with a plug in and the overflow blocked with tissue

Showers were poorly maintained
