My partner and I had a lovely stay! The views around the property are stunning, and we had everything we needed for a relaxing weekend break. We will definitely be returning and couldn’t recommend enough!

We enjoyed everything about the property, amazing views, very welcoming and cleanliness was amazing. myself and my girlfriend definitely recommend Moorland view lodge, we will 100% book again to stay in the summer.

Well maintained property in a beutiful and tranquil location. Excellent local restaurants recommended by our host. Plenty to see and do in the surrounding area.

the property is In a great location for going to different hikes. had pretty much every thing you needed for a short stay. it is pretty clean, lovely enclosed garden with fire burner, table and chairs. absolutely amazing view out the sitting room window. close to the Robin Hood pub which you can walk to through the garden and through the woods in 10 mins. lovely food here. a few different walks from next to the Robin Hood pub.

it could do with a sweeping brush and dust pan as I am a bit of a clean freak and was hard to see bits on kitchen floor all weekend. and could do with directions to where the wheelie bins were as we had to hunt them down. also the rug was full of dog hair as when I sat down on the rug to put a dvd on my legs were covered in dog hair. would be best to have a flat rug that can be hoovered and cleaned properly. I also cleaned down the stairs on second day as noticed they hadn’t been done. like I said this could just be me being a clean freak. nothing bad all in all to complain about this is just if I have to pick something to write.

Everything to a high quality, lovely hotel bedding, Temple Spa products, warm and comfortable.

The only thing we can think of, is that there were only 5 mugs - had to keep washing a couple up!

The property has a really nice view. It's pretty close from the main road but there was not any noise heard from inside. It got everything we need, extremely clean and well-maintained.

Very well furnished and nice extra touches - little jars of jams/marmalade and shampoo/shower gel. the views of the nearby moor was great!!

The kitchen had everything you could need, bed was super comfy and views across the moors were lovely from the outside area. It was very private with no one overlooking the property. The local dogs are very friendly. Loved the views and close proximity to Chatsworth Estate. Lots of nearby walks if you don't want to use the car.

Perfect for a few days away, very clean & comfortable with secure small garden for your dog. Owners very helpful & their 3 dogs very friendly. Walks & places to visit close by.

Good bed

The toilet seat threatened to emasculate me every time I sat on it. My wife also had trouble with the seat but was, naturally, not thus threatened. Of course I complained. The owner said that the seat was designed for easy removal for cleaning. Maybe so, but of no comfort to the user.
