Wonderful location, spacious room, friendly and helpful host. I very soon felt like I was part of a very local neighbourhood. Alessandro was very helpful with directions and tips and let me leave my luggage in the room until a later departure.

Our apartment was very central located, just two minutes walk from the main square. It was very clean and cozy. Every morning we enjoyed a lovely breakfast in the cafeteria nearby. Alessandro was a great host and made our Sicily trip very special. We would love to come back some time soon! Thank you, Alessandro! :-)

The breakfast is included in the price, although it must be consumed in a nearby bar, which offers an excellent service, anyway.

The host Alessandro was extremely helpful and friendly from the get-go and throughout our entire stay. He made sure that we were well taken care of and always replied immediately whenever we had any questions. He was also a great ambassador for Marsala as we got a bunch fun recommendations for possible activities at check-in. The B&B itself seemed newly renovated with great, modern facilities and very spacious rooms. We slept like babies each night thanks to great AC and super comfortable beds. As for location, the B&B is perfectly placed in the middle of the most quaint and restaurant filled part of the city, with a close proximity to both the train station and the harbour which made day trips very easy. Despite being so close to one of the most popular piazzas, we were never disturbed by street noises.

Absolutely recommend this place. Alessandro, who runs Nonno Gino treats you like a friend and makes you feel really welcomed and at home during the stay. Gave us great recommendations. So definitely loved our stay at Nonno Gino and can highly recommend it if you visit the Marsala region. Spent more than a week here. The location is right in the heart of Marsala but as the rooms are facing the backyard they are super quiet. Our room was spacious and always clean and had a shower with lots of hot water (in case you appreciate this). Breakfast is at a little cafe 1 minute away and was yummy with great coffee.

The flat is not just perfectly located, Alessandro is also the greatest host. Communication was super easy and Alessandro always available. He gave us amazing tips and when we come back to Marsala, we’ll make sure to stay with him again.

The curtains that couldn’t completely block sunlight in the morning but that was a minor issue since we woke up early to visit ;)

Everything at Nonno Gino is what it says it will be : text and pictures are accurate. What it does not say is that Alessandro is a very attentive and responsive host, and that turns the stay in a memorable experience :) He replies quickly, helps resolve typical traveler issues (such as one forgetting their belongings behind, or parking), gives relevant advice when asked, and most of all always with a SMILE :) Would definitely pick this place if ever again in Marsala. PS: Even breakfast at the nearby café was perfect and plentiful.

Only small note about Internet connection: About the bigger room that features a "desk/work area": internet doesn't really work there, so you end up having to be on the bed or in the common area if you need a good internet connexion. Not a problem for most holiday makers, but may be an issue if you really need it.
