Everything was superb,from Sue greeting us upon arrival to the lovely comfy accommodation. All staff were friendly and couldn't be more helpful. We are looking forward to our next stay.

This is a superb B&B in a perfect location. The only noise was that of the cows!!! Very friendly hosts. Our room was enormous and very comfortable. There were little extras, such as cake and bottled water and proper milk!!!! Iron, ironing board, hairdryer, toiletries, sumptuous carpets and furnishings all led to giving it top marks. I would highly recommend Cold Cotes, you won’t be disappointed.

As one of us was coeliac, we were very impressed with the attention to detail regarding gluten free requirements. Excellent choice for breakfast. Very good stay and would return and recommend.

From start to finish our trip was a blessing. Property is set in beautiful surroundings, close to knaresbrough and harrogate centre. Very cosy and spacious room, Sue and Mark made sure we feel like we are on holiday Breakfast was fresh and .delicious Very friendly atmosphere

The main aspect was the friendly staff and amazing breakfast. They couldn’t do enough for you. The effort of fresh milk and cake waiting in the room and homemade cake to take away from breakfast was also going above and beyond. The white company shower products were also really nice. Everything you needed from iron to wine glasses to bath robes and big fluffy towels. We usually go to hotels but this was far better especially the genuine friendly service.

The guest house is a collection of properties with the annex we stayed in one of the suites. Separate to this was a beautifully constructed and decorated oak beamed building that was used as a reception and breakfast lounge. The suite we had (No2) was lovely. As soon as we entered it was nice and warm. The suite was like a small apartment - 3 rooms. First was a small lounge area with settee, a TV & fridge / refreshments/ sink. This was separate to the very large bedroom by a door so ideal if one of us just wanted to read/ watch different channel/ not disturb partner sleeping. The bedroom was lovely + very large settee and massive bed, which was very comfy. Bathroom beautifully decorated and clean. Fresh/ clean robes. Lots of sockets perfectly located. Great selection of coffee, biscuits laid out including delicious fresh cake & fresh milk. Lovely liquid soaps / shampoos and moisturisers for use in bathroom. Fantastic breakfast selection - delicious Nice and quiet & relaxing
