The rooms were modern and nice, view was fantastic.

We had to swap rooms initially as first room had faulty aircon, luckily as also first room smelt like previous users were smokers.

The location was great, easy walk to main street restaurants ect. Breath taking view.

The restaurant was permanently closed, so nowhere to sit and have breakfast or a meal, couldn't enjoy a sneaky cocktail beside the pool or in the bar. Unfortunately no spa attached to the pool. Woke up with itchy spots after he first night.

Very noisy apartment with weird acoustics . on two of the nights we could clearly hear the elevator going up and down through the air vent in the ceiling of the bedroom . The aircon was very noisy and annoying with a distinct whine , which was hard to sleep with . The view was nice but could not be enjoyed on the balcony due to all the shouting and screaming kids in the property next door which was a kids adventure water slide area . Lounge chairs were hard and uncomfortable .

The apartment was new and modern.

Sadly the hotel seemed exhausted and tired. the grounds were noisy from next door, the facilities were either closed or busy. A lot of faults I. facilities. plus the bed were very uncomfortable, both had neck issues once home.

Location, pool, beds were super comfortable, staff were very accommodating, apartment was well fitted to accommodate a busy family to maximise their stay in QLD.

After hours arrival was challenging. More explicit instructions on use of the intercom would have helped streamline this process.

The pool was nice

I had a traveller's card which I had used a couple times before but when I went to pay for the accommodation it would not accept, so this took over an hour to sort out which was very frustrating when we just wanted to get into our accommodation after a long day of traveling. When we got into the room it was hot (air con wasn't turned on), and it was filthy. There was a bloody booger flicked/smeared onto the wall in the bedroom, there was stuff spilt on the floor, there were other people's belongings under the couch (high enough off the ground that a cleaner should have seen it), the pillowcases had questionable stains on them so we found the cleanest one to use- then mid stay when our room was tidied they were put back on the bed 🤮 and to top it off the outside furniture needs a good clean. The cot that we asked for was given to us with no bedding, and the 'mattress' was paper-thin and hard.

The staff were amazing and the view was quite good. Was not too far from Surfers Paradise Central to walk or to take the car. Was extremely handy that they had free parking on-site that was not an additional charge. Pool was nice and they have a good little café in the lobby.

The room was quite dirty and had a weird smell. All of the walls were scuffed, and we had to clean the bathroom again before use. Also, bear in mind that the apartments are not serviced, so you will need to obtain clean linen and towels by yourself. Also thought it was a bit strange that we had to remove our own rubbish when there were bins provided in the room. Finally, aircon turns off automatically after 1 hour of no motion, or if you have either the door or a window open. This means you wake up several times throughout the night and it is steaming hot in the middle of summer.

View was great, beds were soft and comfortable, location was good, price was good. We asked for a late checkout and it was granted. The general cleaning of the room was done well.

The walls need a re-paint there are marks everywhere, the hallway carpet needs cleaning, the couches are stained, the single beds are a custom size and are smaller then usual. There was an awful waste smell in the hallway which reception said all cleaning staff had finished for the day by 5pm and that maybe a stick needed to be shoved down the waste shoot to get rid of rubbish that was stuck. Not Ruby's fault but i got a few scam emails and txts from booking.com from this booking asking for card detail verification.

Very disappointed every were was dirty! Mould in bathroom ceiling and shower area needed maintenance not normal cleaning! We told the staff that floor needs mopping and never heard of them, we stayed 8 night no room service at all you need to go and ask the receptionist for everyday items like toilet paper and etc! Elevator floor was wet all day because of people using pool! Is there any instructions for not using elevator with wet clothes !!!
