Excellent value for money for single traveller. Okay distance from town centre, nice and big rooms for being single room, recently refurbished bathrooms, very good breakfast, helpful staff and very nice balcony with garden view. I've traveled a lot and this was one of my best stays regardless of location for small towns/villages.

Clean comfortable in a fairly quiet location. Great value, excellent breakfast and nice garden patio. Good location within easy walking distance of the main shopping/eating/beach area but far enough from the busy roads near that area to be very tranquil. Nice views as well.

Room walls are somewhat thin and transmit noise easily

It is very close to the bus station and a minute walk to the garda side. Hospitality is superb and it is a unique strength of hosting guest here,

This was a brilliant stay for our family. Lucianna is a great host and really well manages this little hotel. Starting from great breakfast, and cleanliness, up to her hospitality and the atmosphere. We loved our stay (2 adults + 2 kids) and if we ever come back to Riva we will stay here again for sure.

Owner is incredible. All the time very nice smiling helpful and very friendly. Amazing breakfast, nice chillout in the garden, calm place.

Missing air-con, only fan, but it's a little thing in comparison to pros..

Very friendly host, good breakfast, nice location (away enough from the centre to be very quiet, but still just a 10-minute walk from the lake) - we definitely enjoyed our stay at the Hotello.

Our room didn't have a bidet (anyway not an issue for non-Italians who are not used to it anyway :-), and the shower is quite handy ;-) ).

Perfect location, superb breakfast, very helpful and kind host, nice view to the mountains, inviting garden and free parking. Walking distance from the old city and from biking rental.

Nice place just little outside city center - easy to reach walking or by bike

Very friendly staff, great breakfast, clean and big rooms and an easy walk into town. If you chose to not have your room cleaned during the day, you receive a free drink in the evening. What a fabulous idea! Highly recommendable.

The drain in the sink was slow.

The hostess was extremely friendly. She was very happy to help with any requests we made, and always went above and beyond what we expected. The breakfast was very nice, and the hostess always inquired if we wanted coffee, etc, and was happy to make a cup or two if we did. The rooms were clean and had almost everything we could have asked for (even toothbrushes!), and the view from the balcony was quite nice. Although we did not have a chance to use it, the hotel has a small gym. The hotel has a nice garden where you can eat breakfast or just chill out on sunny days.

What we missed a bit was a fridge in the room. However, the hostess was happy to provide a portable fridge, which was a bit noisy but it did solve our issue. The bed was a little slanted on one side. Aside from that - nothing major.

Everything was great. Nothing to complain!!
