The view from my room (31st floor) was simply breathtaking, the room itself was beautiful and spacious, the bathroom was another highlight.
The staff was very helpful and friendly - 10 out of 10, the barkeeper even created a special drink for me.
I loved staying at the MO Tokyo and definitely will be back.
The portions at Sense restaurant could be slightly bigger…very tasty though.

Generally our stay was wonderful, I originally booked for a couple of days but ended up staying for two weeks. A tornado threatened and altered a lot of our travel plans. Most of the staff could speak English and on the whole were well trained. Breakfasts are the best we have had at any 5 star hotel and you can eat as much as you like. The views from the hotel are wonderful and on a clear day you can see mount Fuji. We independently hired our own English speaking chauffeur and limo to get a tour around Mount Fiji and other distant villages and lakes, it was much cheaper than the hotel (and the scamming airport taxis).
Hotel restaurants are very expensive and the French Restaurant meals were minuscule, and better suited to a health farm (basically it was a complete rip off and far less food was served than was displayed to me by a photo on the waitresses mobile (illegal in Japan). This was eventually rectified by a replacement second meal after complaining directly to the French chef. I don't like paying huge money to be left hungry (and I am not a huge guy)! Once we got familiar with the surroundings we ate almost all future meals outside the hotel. Staff messed us around insisting I move rooms when I extended one of my stays, this inconvenience was later cancelled but only after we had packed our bags so we had to unpack again. We were harassed to pay for ONE room meal, by staff, which was better settled in my own time at the front desk. Again we ate elsewhere to avoid the disruption and constant phone calls and knocking on our door.

All staffs are very helpful and professional. Especially the bell boy services, always warm welcome us and helped us with our shopping bags to our room. Food was amazing, tried their Chinese restaurant and afternoon tea. Satisfied with their food and service.
Nothing much,if I need to pick one, maybe they don’t offer Limo Bus to the airport. But they can help you to book a taxi however the price is much more expensive.

The Spa was amazing, best one in my life because of the view. It is a place that makes you not go out, it has all the facilities: gym, food, coffee, interaction, relaxation.

Restaurantta yediğimiz akşam yemeği çok özel değildi. Otelde '' lounge'' olmamaması bir eksiklik. Bar yeterince büyük değil ve oldukça yoğundu.

The lifts were unusual. One lift to get to reception. Another down to room. When leaving room it was necessary to take lift up then change lifts to go down to street level.

The hotel is beautiful.. but the best thing about the hotel is the staff... the concierge team is AMAZING... one of the conceirge team members - Rina went over and above to help me find the best places to visit and the restaurents to go to.. she even walked me to one of the restaurants near by to make sure I don't get lost! Another amazing team members is Toya Nakajima... there are really not enough words to describe how amazing the staff is at the hotel. I can't possibly recommend this property more...
I wish they had a restaurant that makes Japanese tapenyaki...

Staff at reception and their manager. When I booked, the hotel charged me around $1,9k. Turned out later on our departure, it was not payment (why should you charge it then?). At the arrival, a deposit was charged - around $2,8k (which is ridiculous in my opinion). And at the departure I was asked to pay around $3k, which, as the said, was payment for accomodation + services that we used. And other two payments should have returned to my account as both of them were preauthorisation. It was early morning and we were on our way to international flight when we started to argue with the clerk. I had to insistently explain why I did not want to pay any more money and it is in their power to charge the correct final amount out of my deposit and the first payment at time of booking. It costed me a lot of my nerves as I was afraid to be late on the plane while clerk started to call a bank at 5.30 am with his manager, saying "I understand" while I was trying to explain that we paid enough and we kind of getting late for the plane. Finally, after around 40 minutes they printed me a receipt with the final amount and let me go. Afterwards, the final amount was charged correctly and the rest was returned to the account. Why couldn't you do it starting from the beginning and forced me to go all that hell circles of arguing with you? I stayed in four different hotels across Japan and all the payments were settled out of deposit automatically. Only Mandarin Oriental that "special". The hotel never to return again. If I paid all they asked and did not complain, I would end up with ±$8k frozen (which I did not have). Priceless!

by far the best hotel experience I have ever had in the world. The staff goes above and beyond any expectations that I could have thought of. The food is delicious and the Mandarin Bar has some amazing drinks. The staff is so kind and the concierge was so helpful booking restaurants and she even walked me to the train station to show me how to reserve a seat on the Shinkansen.
