Absolutely love the millon dollar views from the mountain. The photos' didn't do justice to it. Breakfast was basic which is what I prefer, the eggs and pancakes were fantastic. The coco rice and the other banana drink every morning was awesome.

The instructions on how often the rooms would be cleaned. Our room didn't need to be cleaned its' for managing our expectations.

Low key and relaxed atmosphere. This is a simple accomodation, it doesn’t do frills. The view is beautiful and the staff are so welcoming.

The sheets/bedding may be needing replacing soon. It was definitely clean, but heading towards being threadbare.

Dave Parker’s Eco Lodge is in the hills above Apia. The view from the dining room and guest rooms is amazing. You get a wonderful view of the forest, the city below and down to the ocean. The meals were delicious. Our room was spacious. It had ac, fridge, kettle and microwave. The bed was comfortable. (I didn’t like the pillow but Lolita happily swapped it for me.)

The driveway is very steep (but it is what it is) We didn’t have a car so we were grateful that Lolita was kind enough to drive us down to Apia in the mornings. (Hire a car when you visit Samoa) The hot water for the shower takes a while to come through. 🤷🏼‍♀️

Location was amazing, staff were wonderful.

We stayed at this accommodation for 2 nights therefore we had the opportunity to dine there for breakfast twice and dinner once. The 2 breakfasts we had were sufficient: toasties, pancakes, fresh fruits, tea/coffee and koko. The grounds are beautifully kept, so lush and green - the 3 dogs were friendly and added to the homely atmosphere and mood. The staff were pleasant, in particular Lolita who greeted us daily.

Having been to Samoa multiple times we typically know or sense what an accommodation has to offer and what we can expect for the price of the nightly rate; there was not much to fault Dave Parker Eco for - to be honest, and provide constructive criticism the only real fault we had was with one dinner that we ordered and that was because the dish was extremely spicy yet the menu didn't advise that it was a spicy dish. It wasn't a big deal - it just shocked the tastebuds and senses briefly.

From when we arrived and before we left we felt welcomed. Staff and also the owner were so amazingly nice and friendly. Breakfast was so fresh and good and so was dinner. I would definitely go back.

Great place for birding

The location is stunning with gorgeous views of the coast & looking down on Apia. The staff were genuinely caring and informative. We really enjoyed our stay and would come again.

We loved the friendliness of all the people there - owners, family, staff, others in holiday. Everyone mixed well on the awesome balcony in the evenings. T was a highlight of our holiday & we missed it when we moved down town.

Not enough interesting local walks because packs of dogs made it in safe to walk far

Stunning view. Dave and family were very friendly and accommodating. Beautiful gardens. Big property so lots to see. Staff very friendly.

Not enough crockery in rooms. Be aware not every room has air conditioning, although this is pointed out with the booking. Fans were provided though. Access is a bit challenging but worth it.

The drive to the Property. It's sooooo far away from Town and hidden in the Hills the roads are quite small and you will need a Truck because some of the rocks will puncture a tyre.

so many things that I admire about this property; location, natural beauty, fresh fruits, beautiful garden, waterfall, peace and calm, all the staff are friendly, helpful and make feel like you are staying in your home (very comfortable).Me and my mom enjoyed a lot and felt so refreshed. I loved breakfast suited what I wanted and expected. Cocolaisa Vaisala suafai beautiful portions could have bigger otherwise beautiful.

For my visit it was fit for purpose, time of reflection, prayer and reading my word, being still and resting, was such a peaceful place, tranquil and contemplation for me before going to meet my up with my aiga.

Beautiful place to stay

Service as soon as we arrived was so friendly and welcoming, thanks Lolita. Met the lovely Dave also. Aircon worked very well and amentities we amazing. The view was the best part!! Cup of coffee on the porch...breathtaking sunset and sunrise up the mountains..beautiful.

Panda, Teine and Tama the resident dogs were so adorable and welcoming to me and my kids..BUT for the litte girl next door, they were not as friendly, she had to run back to the room. Maybe as people are checking in, lock them away..or post signs..introducing them, their names etc..so guests are aware..that their bark sounds worse then their persnalities :-)
