We stayed here for about 8 days and really enjoyed the property. The location is wonderful for people who want to get into town easily, but do not want the noise and traffic of being in downtown Amalfi. The closest bus stop is a four minute walk, and there is an affordable scooter rental within 2 minutes. The kitchen had all we needed in terms of cooking tools. The bathroom was very nice. The washing machine and drying racks/lines allowed us to pack lighter for this trip. It was a lovely home base for everything we wanted to do.
Luca handled most of the communication and made our trip much less stressful when coordinating transportation.
The pictures in the listing are nothing compared to the real life view walking out on to the porch.

Great house everything was super nice and Rachel and her son explained how to get around very well

The apartment...with its stunning panoramic view of Amalfi bay, is a cizy loft studio with an upper bedroom and a pullout futon downstairs. The unit is fully stocked with everything you could need including a functional kitchen, refrigerator, washing machine for clothes, perfect bathroom with rain shower head, and AC units upstairs and down. Rachele ("Lina") is the perfect owner and host, always accessible and super helpful. She greeted us with a pitcher of home-made lemonade. But the key to the unit is the view from two levels of porch, each with table and chairs for al fresco dining and drinking. You cannot beat the view. There's a modest but adequate grocery store 300 meters to rhe left, and a bus stop at the bottom of the hill 500 meters to the right that gets you into central Amalfi in 10 minutes. No parking at the unit, but some street parking from time to time on the way down the hill. Qe highly recommend this rental and would stay again.

We enjoyed our stay very much. Our hostess was very helpful and recommended la Bonita del Capo to us. We enjoyed it so much we took a cooking class from the Chef. Great food and wonderful service.

This is a great place to stay overlooking the Amalfi coast. Close to everything and immaculately clean. Lina was a wonderful host and even drove us to a restaurant the first night. We would go back for sure.

Rachele and Luca were amazing, kind hosts who responded right away when we had any kind of issue, from needing more towels to a low battery issue with the hot water heater. The suite was lovely -- peaceful, clean, and well equipped with everything that we needed for the week. The four stars are really for Amalfi, not for the suite. The roads there are terrifying and unsafe. Check-in was complicated because there is no parking and nowhere to even pull over for a moment near the house to check in, so we ended up at the top of the mountain, waiting at a restaurant for Luca to come lead us down to the parking gate. This suite has excellent access to a small grocery store, a little bar/restaurant, and a bus stop, which is how you get get down to the beach and town since there is no parking below. There are walking paths behind the houses that are safe to walk on and provide a beautiful view of the coastline. This was my favourite week of our month in Italy!

Amalfi a winner!
Lina was great! Gave us bus stop photo and greeted us there to lead us to our place. View is beautiful and everything was as promised. We loved “Dongo’s” down the street to get our morning coffee and orange juice!

My time in Amalfi
My time here was glorious, the view was spectacular and I had trouble with the hot water and Rachel fixed it immediately. Unfortunately I needed to return home because of family issues but I would stay her again .

Wunderbar romantischer Urlaub

Amazing Visit to Amalfi Coast
Rachele was a fantastic host! She picked us up in Amalfi and stayed with us for 2.5 hours until we were comfortable with area and the home. The home is a short walk to bar and bus pick up. The bar had the best cappuccino we’ve tasted while in Italy. Andreas, at the bar, helped us find a fantastic restaurant in Pogerola. Since it is slow season, the restaurant owner actually picked us up and returned us to the bar at no charge. We enjoyed a couple of the best meals we’ve had in Italy! The house has all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay in Amalfi.
Grazie Rachele! Arrivederci!

Amalfi coast magic
Fabulous location, supermarket and tabacchi close by, and what an amazing view, truly spectacular! Rachel was a warm and welcoming host, very helpful, offered us some homemade lemonade when we arrived, perfect for a hot afternoon. The apartment was comfortable and spacious enough for 2 people to stay for the week, washing machine appreciated. Only downside, both market and tabacchi ran out of bus tickets 2 days in a row, had to walk along the narrow road to Amalfi, not an easy task with the constant craziness of buses, cars and bikes! Suggest buying extra tickets once in town. Be sure to spend a day at Duoglio beach, it’s quite a hike down/up the stairs, but well and truly worth it. €20 for 2 folding beds and umbrella, can order drinks and food, water crystal clear, pebbles under foot can be quite hard, wear some reef shoes if you have some! Had an amazing week, highly recommend staying at Casa Maresia, thanks again!

What a great place to stay
We stayed in this beautiful place in Amalfi. It is about only 20 minutes bus ride to Amalfi centre. Supermarket is about 4 minutes walk. It is centrally located to see everything you need to do in Amalfi even without a car. The place is clean and is comfortable and Lina the owner was really gracious enough to stay late in the evening to just great us after having our flight 10 hours late. We highly recommend this place to stay if you are in Amalfi

Thank you Rachele for opening your beautiful home to us. We spent 4 great days on the coast of Italy & this lil corner of paradise was right between Amalfi & Positano. It wasspotless and had everything you could possibly think of to make your stay perfect.A fully loaded kitchen, washer with drying racks or outside line, comfy sitting area with TV or outside garden area with a GORGEOUS view. Upstair bedroom area was quiet & comfortable with plenty of room for clothes & suitcases. A block to the right was a Tabacci store where you can pick up bus tickets, expresso, muffins, or an afternoon drink. To the left was a fully stocked grocery store. The bus stops are 5 min. walk & once you get use to the schedule it's super easy to get around. Rachele was very helpful with making our stay pleasant. She helped with buses, restaurants & even drove us back from Positano 1 evening & dropped us off at her favorite restaurant. Hope to come back next year. CIAO!

Great place
Great little place and great host. Out of the craziness of town via a 10 minute bus ride. You just have to rely on the buses, but once you get those down it was nice to get away. Private parking included...we kept our car there the whole time since driving around there isn’t a good option. Rachele hooked us up with all the info on the buses, boat services and tours.

What a view!!!!
What a great time we had in Italy!!!! . Our host was great. She met us with fresh lemonade made from the tasty lemons from the garden. She was a wealth of information. Having coffee and breakfast on the porch overlooking the blue shimmering sea was a great way to start the day. The apartment is conveniently located to the road(only 16 steps) and to transportation. The market was a short walk and had everything we needed and then some. The apartment is well equipped and comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay.

Beautiful views.
We enjoyed our stay at this little apartment in the hills above the Amalfi coast. With a parking space and close to a bus stop, there was little reason to drive to all the sights.

Gorgeous tucked away apartment!
My husband and I stayed here for a week. We didn’t know the area and we were a bit scared because we weren’t too familiar with the language. The owner, Rachele immediately made us feel extremely comfortable! She even welcomed us with a little plate of food and some wine. She gave us all the information we would need for the week and really the view from your balcony is breathtaking, even at night with a drink on the balcony. The apartment came fully equipped with everything you would need, the supermarket was a short walk to stock the fridge with things you may need. We were in Amalfi everyday, short SITA bus ride in. There you can book whatever tours (bus, shuttle, ferry) you may want, do it in advance it books quickly! The food is incredible anywhere you eat and you can get lost in shopping for hours! I would highly recommend this beautiful home! Thank you so much Rachele!

Awesome!!!
Rachelle was a great host, she greeted us with a warm welcome breakfast and off course with lemon and oranges, the accommodations has everything you need, it is great for two people or even, like in our case, for unplanned three. Views are hard to describe, the appartment is very well appointed with obvious attention to detail. Also, if you drive, like we did, the included parking is off the narrow busy streets. Last but not least, the Amalfi coast is amazing. Hope to comeback one day.

Perfect Apartment on the Amalfi Coastline
We drove the crazy, curvy, nail-biting road to this lovely apartment. There is a bus stop a short distance from the apartment, if you don't want to brave the roads. We were so impressed as soon as we walked in. It is a lovely place and with an old world charm. The apartment is really clean, has modern appliances and a beautiful deck to watch the view! Our hostess, Rachele, was wonderful! She explained so much of the area and even gave us a ride to a nearby town one day. I would highly recommend this amazing place to fellow travelers!

Little piece of heaven for Elizabeth and Pierre
We stayed three week at Rachel’s enjoying the Amalfi life. She is a great hostess making us feel at home right away. The apartement was clean, fully equiped and we really enjoyed having our coffee and lunches on the patio. We cooked most our our diners on the grill. The little grocery store close by had all we needed. Getting fresh fish at the fish store down the hill was worth it, grill it yourself admiring the view. We did not rent a car so used the bus system and it worked perfectly. We visited the whole area, Pompeii, Capri, Heculum, Positano, Ravelo, ect using boats and buses, very easy to do based in our coner of paradise

Wonderful Relaxing Spot for a Couple
Rachele was an excellent host. Very quiet and well kept 1 bedroom, 1 bath home to relax on vacation. The kitchen has everything you need if you want to cook some meals and there is a market just up the road.

Apartment was comfortable and well equipped. The view was just as pictured and Rachele was a very friendly and helpful hostess. We even survived the coastal roads of Amalfi with no damage to the car-BOTH side view mirrors came through without a scratch! The parking spot she provides is a great plus.

Beautiful location, wonderful host
Rachele is a very gracious host who goes the extra mile to make your stay more comfortable. She met us at the property, showed us everything and had beverages waiting. Then she drove us to a fantastic restaurant that was really very delicious. On the day of our departure she accommodated us by letting us keep our car on the property until that afternoon. Her place is beautiful with a fantastic terrace overlooking the sea. The location is quiet and about 2 km from Amalfi. You can easily take the bus or even walk to a nice beach. The only criticism I have of our stay was that the bed upstairs is a bit uncomfortable as it is very firm.

The perfect home for our magical week in Amalfi!
So many things made this the perfect home for our anniversary trip to the Amalfi Coast. Pictures can not fully capture the glorious view from the beautifully landscaped terrace patio. My wife and I spent many hours relaxing, sharing a meal, enjoying a glass of wine, listening to the chime of the church bells every half hour and taking in the incredible view. The location between Praiano and the town of Amalfi (each are less than 10 minutes away by car) was an ideal launching off point for our many Amalfi adventures. We had a rental car for the week and the availability of a private gated parking space with this unit was very important as parking is a difficult challenge in Amalfi. If you do not have a car, there is also regular bus service that stops close to the home. The inside of the home was perfect. We had everything we needed for the week, with a market within 100 meters of the house for shopping. I can't say enough about our host Rachele. What a joy it was to get to know her - we feel like we made a new friend during our time in Amalfi. She was available any time we needed her, was quickly responsive on all communications. You will not find a better host. One thing to note is there is some traffic noise during the daytime. The home is located on a route traveled by tour buses and during the day you will hear regular horns from the buses (streets are winding and narrow and the buses are warning oncoming traffic in blind curves). This subsides late afternoon once tourist traffic clears out for the evening and is a non-issue at night. The very affordable rental rate for the home in my opinion more than factors in what I would call a minor factor. We would not hesitate to stay here again for our next Amalfi adventure.
