Location is perfect, especially the little walk to the lookout is perfect to watch sunrise or sunset. Restrooms are clean. Food is really good. We recommend the camp!

it was amazing time in amazing place with super cool guys. Towfique and all staff there is super friendly and place is in deep desert. You can feel as in the moon. Strongly recommend - he is honest guy!!

Location was magnificent, breathtaking. I walked around and explored for hours long before it was time for dinner. The guides were easy going to helped bring us to sites I'll never forget.

This experience was AMAZING ! All was perfect, this camp is a TRADITIONAL DESERT CAMP with simple tends but with a very nice contest and furniture : tyoical for the place. THE BEST OF OUR EXPERIENCE WAS SADDAM, an incredible boy, very friendly with a big passion for his job, the best driver that we met in our life! We are very grateful to this faboulous person with a big heart and with a special emapty with his tourists. We had a wonderful dinner with nice surprise , the fire inside of the big "dinner tend" was so warm. We hope to come back as soon as possible! Thank you a lot SADDAM - Fra- Dona - Manu

Dinner was amazing.

The location is amazing, exactly as on the picture, deep in the Wadi Rum, close to all the beautiful sites. Our tent had very comfortable beds and faced sunset. The welcome is really warm, the friendliness and professionalism of the staff are outstanding. We spent two evenings in the common tent by the fireplace and it felt like being at home with friends. Tawfiq runs the camp perfectly and will assist you in making the most of your stay: he organized horse-back riding for us and took us on a jeep tour to the best places of the Wadi Rum, kudos :-) But please bear in mind that it is a camp, not a luxury hotel, so don't expect a heated or air-conditioned tent or high-speed internet because it's in the desert where mobile phone service is weak.

false advertising in relation to -transport from the village to desert bird camp -wifi -live music -heating in rooms -security this is all listed on booking.com, you’ll need to update your booking page as this wasn’t provided. the staff (except Mahmoud) didn’t make us feel comfortable throughout our stay. making us feel unwelcome & not at home during our stay at many points.

Al Tawfiq made our stay in the desert an exceptional experience.

Desert Bird Camp was a beautiful experience. I arrived at night and I woke up to the most beautiful view. They were so friendly and welcoming. The evenings around the fireplace with a cup of tea were very cosy. I was surprised by the comfort of the facilities, the bathroom is very clean and has hot water. Chef Mahamout cooks every evening a delicious diner buffet in the traditional Zarb way. I was really happy to find multiple vegan options. Thanks to the dear host Tofig, I discovered beautiful places in the desert, he also gave helpful advice for the rest of my trip. I would like to try out their hiking tours in the future, I hope to be able to come back soon! Tip for the breakfast: place your bread in the fireplace :)

Very nice hosts, Taufiq had his driver come pick us up at the village and drive to the camp. We would then proceed with the jeep tour followed by delicious dinner. The camp had all the necessary amenities (except for wifi, but it’s the desert so duh), comfortable beds and delicious dinner/breakfast.

Beautiful surroundings with incredible views! Tents and bathrooms are super neat and comfortable. The food is also delicious! I took two jeep tours with a local Bedouin, fantastic! I strongly recommend staying in this camp, as some camps I’ve seen in the are don’t really look as nice as on the booking and the surrounding is pretty poor.

we had a wonderful stay with the lovely host Tawfiq. We felt very welcome and the food was really tasty. The Camp is very clean and you have everything you need. we only stayed for 1 Night which was too short a 2nd night would have been perfect.

Desert Bird Camp is the place you want to come back. In the middle of the desert, you sleep in perfectly clean tents, eat delicious dinners and experience true Bedouin hospitality. I also recommend the full day jeep tour organized by the Camp.

What can I say that hasn’t already been said, Tawfiq is a “Superhost”, and the camp is incredible. We would definitely recommend his place.

Amazing camp in Wadi Rum with great people and food. Tawfiq is an amazing host, he welcomed us into his camp and was very helpful whenever we need anything. The rooms are great and it gives you a real experience of spending a night in the desert.

This camp is amazing. I had the best time especially with Tawfik, Sattam, Mouhmoud and Yulia. All of them always available, helpful, friendly and funny.
