At least they refund 2 nights as we could not sleep in our rooms because of the noise and had to leave early.

Extremely noisy until 11:30pm because of the bar there, even though quiet hours supposedly start at 10am. Mosquito nets on windows were broken. The communication with the hotel was pretty bad, payment in advance by western Union was complicated and the staff did not speak good Spanish or English.

This is amazing! 10/10. Room is big, have a hot water, free drinking water, parking is secured, breakfast really good. The people who is working there was really helpfull. If you go there try the restaurant in the evening :) The pepper sauce was the best that I had. Portions big, so don’t take something for starter.

Sabine is an absolutely super host. Good place to stay.

The location was good. Close to mini markets and my fav restaurant Rosy's, ATM, bus pick up to Santo Domingo and close to a small local bar that locals hanged out at. The pool was cool and refreshing.The free water was nice.

They could have provided an option for mosquito netting, I was swatting at mosquito's all night. The frying pans in my kitchen were deplorable and the kitchen lacked other kitchen utensils. I had to use my dive knife to clean the fish I speared. It was also the least social place I stayed at during my trip.

the boss who handles the guest and rooms is not very customer oriented. we felt like we were disturbing. very noisy boxing training from her is pretty annoying.

Room is a bit outdated and dark. Bed is uncomfortable and electricity didnt work all the time. Very noisy and you can hear everything to your room.

It was a great property. Close to everything so we were able to walk wherever we wanted. The rooms were large and very comfortable. I would recommend it to anyone.

We loved the place - our apartment had a small yard, terrace and a spacious room. Kids loved the swimming pool. The restaurant area is cozy and food is really good - especially the grilled meat.

Just a few very minor details - the kitchen is well equipped with utensils, plates and cups are plastic but that's ok. However if there were some basics like salt, sugar or a few packets of tea, that would be a cheap way to create additional welcoming value. Another thing is water - in other hotels you would normally get smalls bottles in the fridge. Here they have a big water bottle with a pump, which is nice, but in our case there was only a little bit left and when I asked if they could give a new one, they said we have to pay! Colmado exchanges this water for 60 pesos and there's no way we would use a third of it in one day, so it's just a missed opportunity to score extra points on hospitality with little money and have a satisfied returning customer. Also the beds' mattreses are not comfortable, you can feel the springs.

We took extra breakfast and it was actually the best breakfast we had in Dominican Republic. Pool was small but nice, very big. I liked the owners, they seem to have lots of friends so the atmosphere there is very special, like joining some kind of a family, drinking wine next to the pool - it felt really nice. It is close to everything, to beautiful beaches disco, restaurants. Also there is a restaurant in the Le BDM - it looked really yummy

The gate was a little problematic for us but we got used to it.

Impossible to pay with card!! You need to pay your stay in cash... When the restaurant is open it's a little noisy. A bit too expensive for it's value.

Nice location, good restarurant with european menu. Only some rooms had hot water at the shower. Close to shops and local restaurants. Safe around. Clean rooms.

Very noise place. Rooms don't have glass in windows or doors. Restaurant (official close 9:30) and later pub are open till midnight.There is only few meters from entry to rooms. Inside the room you can hear each voice from outside (motorbikes, restaurant/pub) and from other rooms (mix of conversations, sing, movies, night sex -what you wish). Quiet will be between 1AM till 6AM only. The mattress was extremely hard. I felt all the springs. Some of rooms had problem with hot water. Owner could not fix it. Note: Information "for sale" is on the fence. This is worst accomodation during my stay in Dominican (I had totally 6).
