Loved the location and loved all facilities. Was very clean and homely and we all loved it.

Just a shame about parking but we understood it wasn't included with our stay. We found the harbour master who did a good rate for us for the week.

The location was fantastic. The beds are comfortable kitchen fully equipped and the space was clean and tidy on arrival.

The location is great. Really close to the beach. A stones throw from the spa.

It wasnt clean. No brush, hoover or even dust pan and brush. Shower was very slow at draining water so it was a sturuggle to wash hair. Power went off as cooking dinner. Advertised as 2 rooms, 1 double and single bed the other a double where really it was 2 doubles. Having booked to 2 children male and female aged 15 and 11 the children had to sleep with a parent each. The second room is separate to the main flat. Up some stairs and has to be locked behind them. The bathroom is only accessible through the bedroom in the main part of the flat. The shelves on the fridge door were all broke.

Was no breakfast as self-catering. Generally clean 'n tidy although refrigerator was could have been better along with a couple of cooking utensils. Overall we were quite happy with flat 3, location was very good too.

Limited parking, plus the climbing of the stairs. Disrespect by people in flat 1 smoking right outside the front entrance allowing smoke to filter into the property, and leaving cigarette stubs on the ground right outside. Not nice for non smokers.

Modern flat, close to spa. We got off street parking, a bonus.

We knewToo many steps, but we knew that when booking and decided to go ahead.

Was only a few minutes walk from sea front.

Everything has been said about Flat 3 in earlier reviews. Dirty, small and attitude of owner. Owner doesn't care about place, he's got a pub to run (his words). He's also a conman who doesn't reimburse monies owed to client. This is the first time with SYKES COTTAGES, never again.

What didn’t we like about this flat it wasn’t clean bed was broken vile rude staff will never stay again can’t even answer then phone when been rang and can’t even provide park or a permit what a waste of money and thank you the rude women that ruined my birthday

It was close to train station town and beach and plenty of food places around

The floors were mix from carpet to Lino no cleaning tools ie brush mop had to get these as floors after a few days was full of sand and bits key situations when aving kids is a nightmare and last thing the fridge fell apart

Location was amazing. Exceptional host. Nothing was too much trouble, communication throughout. Great value for money. Kitchen was well equipped.

Kids were in a separate attic room apart from us. Not ideal for family with younger children. Parking is difficult to find during busy periods.

Great stay! Close to the beach and city centre. Very nice looking apartment! Feels like home. Will be back for sure
