Great location and very comfortable and cosy

Accomodation was perfect. Well laid out, everything you could possibly want. Excellent heating and hot water. Very quiet. Lovely views from front and back. Pitch and putt was well used. Dogs enjoyed the walks, felt very safe to let them off. Sausage, bacon, eggs and milk were appreciated. Lovely bottle of Prosecco. WiFi was very good.

I don’t think there was anything that I disliked. Everything you needed was there.

Sat nav postcode took us directly to the property. Keys were ready and available in the door which was easy and very handy. The hosts had left sausages, bacon, eggs and a box of chocolates which was a lovely touch. Arrived to find lights and heating were already on which was a cosy touch. Bedding and all towels included. The lodge itself was very comfy and accommodating. Beds were comfy. The setting is quiet and relaxing with a lovely view of the lake. It was an added bonus to find little touches such as oil, salt, pepper, washing up liquid, tea towel and dishwasher tablets for use too.

No heating in the bathroom so it was very chilly when using the facilities!

An excellent location and a comfortable property; well resourced, clean and with a lovely welcome pack. The country setting is within easy reach of Gillingham and it’s shops and supermarkets but pleasantly isolated near water lily ponds and with a resident heron.

It was an end of season booking so some bits and pieces needed attention but this was only to be expected and, on the whole, did not detract from our enjoyment of our stay.

Nice and comfortable living space, good wifi. Brilliant for dog walks and lots to do in the area a short drive away. Lots of wildlife and quiet and peaceful location.

Sensor light didn’t work on the outside of the lodge. Fairy lights didn’t switch on either. My boyfriend unplugged the fire as no clear instructions of how to stop it running and the plug was so hot to touch he burnt his hand. Dishwasher wasn’t much use as left things dirty so ended up washing by hand.

The lodge was the perfect escape. It was in the most beautiful setting. A lake and a woods on our doorstep that had the teens off social media and outside climbing trees rowing boats and splashing in muddy puddles. We played board games when we were in the lodge. The lodge itself was beautiful. Everything you need. We were even left everything required to make a lovely breakfast. The dog thought he was in heaven. He literally roamed free the whole time we were there. Will definitely be going back soon
