A nice pub with a very nice room and bathroom . Excellent food, fantastic breakfast, good ale and very friendly, helpful staff. Very good value and definitely will stay again and recommend

The bed was a little soft for my liking but otherwise a very good, spacious and well equipped room.

The fox and goose was easy to find though , down a very narrow road. The bedroom was lovely and large and well equipped. Lovely having home made biscuits and to be able to make drinks. We had an evening meal which was gorgeous and the breakfast was great as well all made fresh and to order. Very relaxed atmosphere. We would definitely use again if in the area.

It still looks a bit scruffy from initial entry but this is soon dispelled on entering the room.

The outside of the building gives nothing away, but inside, you’ll find a warm welcome in stylish and comfortable surroundings where nothing is too much trouble.

Breakfast was pretty good, was going elsewhere for sunday lunch but had to cancel due to large breakfast here.

Everywhere can be 'ridiculed' by some critic's. Here is a quiet location, seemingly popular pub with good food. menu's to be fair IS EXPENSIVE, but I would return. The rooms are spotless, and would come here again

Lovely friendly pub in Parracombe near to many great places to visit. Tastefully decorated, clean and comfortable. Very good quality food and beer make it a wonderful place to stay. Definitely one to return to and as soon as possible!

Everything. Following the retirement of Kay and Richard from The Heatherville at Lynmouth, The Fox & Goose is now my gold standard. The food is excellent. The staff are friendly and the room was fabulous. As for Nicki & Paul - the best hosts.

Victorian building next to small river in ancient village. Bedroom was a good size nicely decorated and good views over river and fields. Large bathroom with under floor heating and a walk-in rain forest shower with plenty of hot water. Pub and dinning areas recently tastefully refurbished. Breakfast excellent and plentiful. Evening meals all home cooked using local produce with comprehensive blackboard menu - enough for two of us to have something different every night. Nice atmosphere big thanks to Nikki and her team for a very enjoyable stay we will be back

The pub is a traditional country pub with decor and a good selection of local beers. The food menu was quite extensive, but also very good. The pate was great, the Steak and Guiness pie was very good. The roast potatoes were exceptional. A great full English in the morning too. They were able to accommodate a last m nite change of plan too, because of Corona 👍🏼

Lovely country pub. Hospitable and friendly but unobtrusive hosts. Locally sourced food. Breakfast delicious and we recommend the fish stew and game pie as dinner options. Room comfy, quiet and very clean. Home made biscuits too!
