The hotel was clean, organized. The service was really kind and the room was comfortable. The breakfast space is convenient, clean finally he quality of the food is pretty good.
My only complaint is the breakfast doesn't have many options to drink or eat. For example:they doesn't have hot chocolate, oat meal. You cannot find tea options. My advice would be improve the beverages zone.

We booked our stay with booking.com and when we arrived at the motel, the price was 39.00 more. Desk attendant didn’t bother to advise us of the change just charged my card. When I got the receipt to sign I asked about the discrepancy and he and the general manager stated they uploaded the price to booking.com inaccurately and there was nothing they could do for me to honor the price I booked. Booking.com didn’t do anything to encourage them to honor the price they uploaded. Because they had already charged my card and booking.com stated I had to cancel 1 day before or be charged the first night stay, I chose to take the room because I didn’t trust booking.com or the motel to be honest and return all of my money! Needless to say looks like these people are doing a bait and switch to get people to stay in their crappy motel. I won’t EVER darken the doors of any LaQuinta again. I do not do business with people who are dishonest.
Then Jerry the next day front desk attendant was very rude when I asked for a do not disturb sign for my door. Didn’t get one for 1/2 hour went back and asked and he stated he hadn’t told the cleaning crew yet…. Sigh…this company needs to seriously rethink their customer service training module and retrain ALL their staff including general managers! Thinking people will continue to stay with you no matter how you treat them is a serious misjudgment. College station has way too many hotels to choose from for people to go back and be abused.

I liked the location and the cleanliness.
Lots of amenities that I booked for needed work. Hot tub was broken. The pool was dirty. The table in the pool area was destroyed, and the elevator on the right need service. We only took it once and after that waited for the one on the left. The AC in our room needed servicing as well. 72° should have the room cold. It was barely comfortable. There were also small ants in the room on the dresser and in the restroom. I booked an adjoining room for my daughter and she didn’t have ants. Just me.

Clean, spacious, comfortable beds. Decent workout room. Clean pool. Delicious breakfast. Easy 15 min. drive to A&M. Good location. Housekeeping emptied out trash daily and made our bed. We stayed for 3 nights.
Pool was locked during swim hours. Breakfast the same on the weekends as during the week. Biscuits and gravy would be a nice addition as at other La Quintas and waffle toppings.

The breakfast really needs some type of flavor, the eggs, that is the regular for this breakfast, they tasted like synthetic. Some change in the breakfast is needed.

It’s a strange hotel, it seems like it’s brand new but the amount of disrepair makes it seem very old? Surely if it was a new hotel, more care would go into its presentation and how it comes across to guests? There’s a range of very strong and weird smells throughout the hotel. The room we were initially given choked us from the smell of perfume and burned our throats (no windows to open to vent the smell out) which irritated my partners asthma so we asked to change and staff were very accommodating with this. Upon entering the new room there was the strongest smell of bleach and other cleaning products, obviously good to know it’s clean but it was overwhelming and made us feel really sick. It lingered for about 2 days but I think they need to change to less strongly scented products.
The rooms are very dark which isn’t very nice.

The pool was locked the whole time which was disappointing, we wanted to hang out in the area next to the pool with the fire (looked really nice and relaxing in the pics online) but it was all broken and kicked in - why hasn’t this been fixed? Makes the hotel look really rough.
Also the TV in the lobby was broken, issues with the image quality.
There was meant to be a bar at the hotel but it wasn’t open the whole time.
The snack shop was ridiculously overpriced.
I feel like a lot of what was advertised about the hotel you didn’t actually get. If we knew half of these things wouldn’t be available, we wouldn’t have chosen this hotel. It was poor quality and needs some care and pride put into it’s presentation. Very disappointing stay!

The location was great, easy to find, close to everything.
The little Dove toiletries were nice.
The bed was very comfortable
The a/c was cold, which is a good thing.
At check in, the clerk was not very friendly, we felt like we were an inconvenience.
There were large wads of hair in the corners and caught under the door seal.
The shower had very little pressure and actually stopped a few times during my shower.
Breakfast was a huge disappointment, we went down at 9:15, there were only a few pieces of bread, trix yogurt (yuck) and waffles ( those were ok).
We went to check out, a little before noon , no staff was to be found, we called out, waited a few minutes and had to leave without a receipt.
