Nice place. Clean and comfortable. Too much grass in the lake to make fishing successful. Bedrooms a little warm. Unable to use the stove oven due to being locked. Overall it was a good trip. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet comfortable place to go for a few days.

To start with the house smelled old and like moth balls. EVERYTHING was locked up-no paper towels, trash bags or even sofa cushions. The towels were old, not much bigger than a hand towel and as thin as my pinky nail. One of the few items available for us to use, the iron, burned my shirt, then we lowered it even further & it burned my husband’s brand new shirt. As soon as we arrived the stairs broke, and the screen on the porch was hanging there. We tried to reach the host through multiple ways-Vrbo, the numbers listed at the house as well as the after hours number with no response. If this is what they want to present to renters, they should drastically lower their price!

Location is wonderful. Everyone enjoyed the screened porch and boat dock. Furnishings are older than we are accustomed to, but the online pictures accurately reflect that.

Overall was great we had several boats and parking was tight the first time we stayed the field and trees were trimmed and neat this time they were not we still enjoyed the stay and would recommend this property to others. We will stay again unless our retreat numbers get bigger thanks for the chance to stay

Had an issue with not getting email from vrbo and had to resend and got it later. lights in big room were having issues with the balance had to work with them AT TIMES to come on. But love the cabin and works great for our family vacation. Hope to book again next year if all works out. Appreciate ya'lll so much

We enjoyed the weekend getaway with family, the view is beautiful and the lake house is spacious and very clean. Loved the huge porch overlooking the water. Grandson caught a two- pound bass! The ping pong table provided entertainment with competition games. Definitely will revisit!

Great place on the lake
Had the best weekend at this house on Lake Guntersville. Perfect place for two couples and 3 teens. Not fancy but super clean and the perfect weekend getaway. The outdoor porch area is the best place to end and start the day. The ping pong table kept the teens entertained after we were off the water. Nice dock and the boat launch is only about 10 minutes away. The kitchen was well stocked, beds comfortable and a very quiet neighborhood. Couldn’t have wanted more for the weekend.

Summer vacation
The house and dock were awesome. Our boys really enjoyed fishing off the dock every morning and night. The ping pong tournaments were a big hit too.

Truly Waterfront
We had a great stay at Crosswinds. It is a peaceful place with a beautiful view of the water. I would have been content to spend all my time sitting on the screened porch looking out over the lake but the grandkids were having so much fun catching bream from the boat dock that I had to join them. The property manager was extremely easy to deal with and I think if there had been any problems while we were there that they would have been taken care of immediately. We will definitely stay again if they will have us.

This house was perfect! Our family of 9 had PLENTY of room without feeling crowded! Loved the privacy and being just steps from the water! The swing bed on the screened in porch was so comfortable it got slept on both nights of our stay! We cannot wait to come back!

Sister's Weekend
In dire need of new coffee pot. Overflowed, doesn't work well with the paper filters. Please provide a new pot. This one very old. The stove is so old seems dangerous. Has lots of tin foil in it. When oven is on The top of stove gets extremely hot so seems the safety heat seal is not there for oven. Top Gets so hot it burns your hand !! Dangerous, do not use long if any.

Overall the experience was excellent. The lights in the master bedroom didn’t always come on and the WiFi password didn’t work. We spent most of our time on the screen porch.

The house was in a great location with a laid-back feel. We rented a pontoon boat for the day from Lake Guntersville park and would recommend that for a fun day with the family!

Large Driveway and covered carport were perfect for boat trailers. Easy to drive trailer with small jon boat thru carport with no backing required. Was convenient to dock my boats sheltered from wind.

Very nice place
We had a great time at the property and it was perfectly located for our fishing trip. The house was exactly as pictured so it met all of our needs. The hosts were very responsive and even let us access the house a little early which was very much appreciated. I would absolutely rent from them again.

Lake house
House was fantastic and the location was great. We were there for 3 days to do some fishing. The dock was really nice and great for keeping boats. There is a big boat tied up there for sale that uses a lot of space so if the water is low you won't be able to tie up on the bank side. Other than that I Spyker definitely stay again.

Fishing trip with the Guys
Great property. It worked well for our needs. We had a few boats and the dock here at the property was awesome. The house is in a very good location with great scenery and higher end homes so theft wasn't a big concern. The owners were very prompt with communications and good to deal with. We would definitely consider this property in the future.

Three Brothers and Uncle Annual Fishing Trip
My two brothers and I plus our uncle just got back from our 11th annual fishing trip. We range in age from 64 to 83. We have stayed at four different properties at Guntersville prior to this trip. This property by far is the best. Very spacious and comfortable. I loved spending early mornings on the screened in porch swinging in one of the porch swings overlooking the lake. We enjoyed our tradition of watching "Oh Brother Where Art Thou" (we say most of the lines and sing al the songs) in the living room and we even played some ping pong in the game room. We put the boat dock to good use with our two fishing boats and to be honest we caught more fish from the dock than our boats. Bottom line great property, beautiful grounds and excellent hosts that answered every question and was wonderful and accommodating. As the Terminator would say "We'll be back!"
