There are so many positive aspects of our stay at the Saenliefde B&B: its location by the water in the peaceful village of Wormer offers a perfect relaxation after spending a day in the buzzing Amsterdam (reachable in 20 min by train, in addition to some walking to the train station, but the B&B offers also bike rental for an affordable price, so we reached the station very quickly).
The hosts Ronald and Margreet are very welcoming and pleasant to chat with. Every morning they prepare a fresh and delicious breakfast with some home made ingredients. The atmosphere in the breakfast room is very homey and pleasant. It is obvious that the hosts care a lot about their beautiful historic house in which the B&B is located, since the place is very clean and furnished with a mix of modern and antique design.
We would definitely come back!

Warm hosts. Beautiful place close to the water. Margareet and Ronald are gracious hosts. Very welcoming.
Breakfast is filling and very good.
They even pack leftovers for you.
They gave us a ride to the train station for a small fee.
When our card couldn't go through, they trusted us to leave and pay when we got home.
We had a very relaxing stay.
Bedroom is upstairs while the bathroom is downstairs.

Host and Hostess, their kind welcome of us into their beautiful home, their care of providing us all the necessary information of getting around there, the wonderful breakfast and the extras to take with us to eat when we were hungry.
The history of the house and the detailed care that they have put into their house and letting us share it.

Stairs to upper bedroom were very steep not suitable for persons with limited mobility but was ok for us. Train station was about a half hour walk

Ronald and Margreet are exceptional hosts, very kind and welcoming. The beds are really comfortable and amenities on the room superior. The facilities are sparkly clean and very new. Everything is decorated and designed so mindfully. The location is very close to everything needed and next to the romantic waterside. The breakfast is freshly cooked and prepared with love. Thank you and we will certainly come back sometime :-)

Sandra, our host, was fantastic. Her attitude, her concern about filling each of our needs, her outstanding breakfasts, made our stay a wonderful experience. The place itself is clean, cozy & quiet.

Very peaceful, attractive garden area with seating. The weather was delightful so breakfast was outside. It was nice & in walking distance of the town. We also hired some bikes from our hosts.
The hosts were extremely helpful, friendly & polite. The breakfast was amazing with homemade cakes & bread freshly cooked each day.
We both enjoyed our visit very much & hope to return next year.

Lovely, friendly and knowledgeable couple own this beautiful oasis. The breakfast is plentiful with a great choice and Ronald has learned how to make poached eggs especially for British visitors.
the only regret I have is that I didn’t stay longer.

Breakfast was amazing. Our hosts were very kind and helpful and went beyond our expectations to make us enjoy our stay. Fabulous well presented breakfast with a warm and very friendly conversation. the home stead and rooms are fantastic, clean and cosy environment. We loved it.

The rooms are nicely decorated, modern and clean. The location is perfect for small trips to Amsterdam or just spending the day cycling the nearby area.

I stayed 2 nights in one of their lovely studios. Everything is brand new mixing all the modern comforts you can wish for with its traditional Dutch heritage. Breakfast was delicious and the host made me feel very welcome.
I didn’t like that I only stayed 2 night :-)
