Amazingly relaxed hostel with direct beach access, well equipped kitchen and nice veranda. Easygoing staff and guests, great contact through messaging. About 10 min walk from the ferry. A rare hostel gem in the Caribbean! Definitely recommended.

It can get slightly hot in the building but fan works fine. Perfectly acceptable for the price. You pay little, cannot expect AC and stuff!

Perfect location, very helpful and welcoming staff, amazing view - the hostel is facing the seaside and the mountains, stores near by. You’re equipped with detail information about things to do, buses, guidebooks. The kitchen is very well equipped with some free stuff to use and if you’re lucky you’ll get some free fruits! :) I totally enjoyed the Caribbean vibe and whole stay in Dominica and will be back!

It was hot! Some extra fan in the upper kitchen would be a good idea. Also depends which room you’re staying and how many people are at the same time. Don’t leave your food outside the fridge as the ants are ready to eat it ;)

everything, good customer service to charlotte, someone you can depend on anytime pf the day. did everything she could to ensure the accommodation and stay was worthwhile.

it has not washing machine or wash area to do laundry.

Wifi was a little slow

Very welcoming, place is kept clean, nicely positioned on the shore. I managed to keep the mosquitoes out, which was an added bonus!

There are no air cons but the fans are ok.

I liked the location and friendliness of the owner. The view was also beautiful from the balcony. Easy access to the ocean.

I had to call so someone could come welcome me in the afternoon. No real common room to meet up with other travellers.

Can't beat the price for beach front Caribbean! Rocky beach but nice views especially sunrise and sunset. I've stayed there a few times and it is easy to walk to from the ferry. They are also building a nice hangout spot next door which will make the place even better. Great base to check out the beautiful island of Dominica.

awesome location directly at the beach. with perfect sunset view every evening. clean rooms, amazing staff, that would do anything to help. I stayed 10 days and had an amazing time. would definitely come back!

What's not to like?

Small but comfortable and social hostel. Close enough to walk into town, far enough as not to be too loud at night.

It was conveniently located. Close to supermarkets, the ferry terminal, restaurants, etc.

They say there's internet, but it doesn't work. I went to the outdoor Spanish bar next door for my wifi needs and they had high speed internet. I asked the lady at the property where the closest beach is located and she told me that it is behind the property. I looked behind the property and I wouldn't even wash my clothes in that water.

This place is close Russeau and ATMs and supermarkets are by walking distance, good wifi and if you are looking to be crewed in a sailing boat, there are many mooning. The kitchen is really well equipped!

Beds are comfortable. Great vibe with variety of people. Great location. Great sunsets. Good wifi ( look at bottom of router on top of cabinets upstairs, for the good one).

Mosquitoes, few locals are different but 95% of the people are very nice...

Good vibes with the other travellers, great location. Very helpful information provided. I loved having the ocean next to my bedroom.

Terrible wifi (not sure if this is a Dominican thing), staff interaction was a bit limited, the anti mosquito strategy was to use a lot of ventilators.

Even though I could stay only for one night I can recomment the Hostel. Very helpful friendly host and good location. See you next time.

Charlotte and Tifanny were amazing, super friendly and helpful. The house is at the beach and well located. The place is clean and tidy, the kitchen well equipped and you feel like home there. I recommend it!

The shower didn't get hot and the WiFi was not working at times, but anyway my stay was super nice.
