The location and view was breathtaking, loads of outdoor decking space and loved the pool.

We loved how clean and beautifully the house was set up, the decks and the heated pool was just the right temperature. It had everythink we need for a relaxing holiday, cant wait to come again. The host was easy to deal with also. Awesome holiday.

The amazing views out to the harbour were just magical! The pool and spa were a great addition :) Some lovely personal touches of artwork by the owner was nice

There was an ant infestation in the kitchen, and the mosquitoes were not pleasant, we all came away with multiple bites.

ease of access to all the facilities the home has to offer. ability to utilise pool & spa facilities on demand the house was well equipped and tidy, large space for relaxation away from the kids. pool was a winner! spa pool even more so.

there was no storage space for the cleaning equipment, brooms, mop were left laying around & there is no washing line, to save power on drying clothes, a must with a pool near. wasp nests under outside chairs, which is common during summer especially with tea tree about. We had to kill 3 medium sized nests to ensure our children weren’t stung while swimming. swimming pool was warm most of the stay? I’m unsure if that was due to the sun? or wether the water is luke warm?

The house was immaculate! We were allowed to bring our friends dog. Outside areas, pool, BBQ and hot tub were amazing too! Everything was wonderfully looked after and it was a little oasis away from any hustle and bustle, but close enough to the popular beaches that you can drive.

No issues with the house at all - everything was perfect.

Great views. Beautiful house, excellent pool and spa pool. Comfortable beds. Great seating areas inside and outside. We didn’t realise we needed our own coffee and tea, so had to go back to Kaeo to pick it up, but a good excuse to get a takeaway from the Indian restaurant, very yummy. (We have left plunger coffee in fridge for next guests). Hosts ask that we remove our own rubbish, it would be good to have had the necessary rubbish bags so we could have left our rubbish at the refuse centre (no problem with recycling). The shops in Whangaroa Bay are not open in the morning so not possible to purchase a bag. We had to use the public bins to get rid of our rubbish, luckily we didn’t have much to get rid of. I highly recommend this property for a relaxing few days.

We would have liked to stay longer. Nothing negative but coffee, tea and the council bag so we could dispose of our rubbish would have been good.
