Location was good for us.
Outside light was not working.
Parking for big car is not ideal.

Location for a ladies fell running weekend
Large lounge , fire , good kitchen and dining room , 4 bedrooms
The cooker - induction one and over complicated .
Didn’t say only fuel for fire for 1 night ( but was able to buy logs from farm shop in village )

Well equipped and the log fire was amazing. The welcome hamper was a fantastic touch and well appreciated, thank you. Will book again if you’ll have us !!
Poor water pressure, parking not easy also, no toilet brush, would have been nice to know that we needed to purchase logs for the fire.

A really clean and well presented home. Lovely touches, like the milk and welcome hamper, were really appreciated.
The directions on the site were wrong so we were driving around d for a bit. The cracoe cafe is now a b and b!

Like quite a few properties the house and equipment needed looking at more regularly and with an eye to what it's like to use/ stay. Opening velux windows was a problem and we could only get one ring on the induction hob to come on . The instructions did not seem to be available, other than installation instructions. There was no real garden or space to sit out, and this should be made clearer in the information. Finding the property was also not easy and we had to ask at the farm shop up the road.
It was however very spacious inside and with a bit more attention to details could be easily made nicer to stay at.

The barn provided us with all the space we needed. It is well equipped allowing us to enjoy meals together and relax in comfy sofas.
The area is beautiful with lots of options for different types of activities.
The narrow lanes around the barn might be a challenge for some drivers but shouldn't put you off. Great to wonder along!

Perfect property for 7 friends to get together at a reasonable price. Comfortable and spacious property. Well equipped kitchen with plumbed American fridge freezer.
Showers weren’t great, either scorching or freezing. Lack of water pressure to sink in en-suite bathroom.
Difficult to find the property as it is down a very narrow path and directions are outdated. Beware if you have a wide car! Parking for 2 cars only, we had 4 but pub next door allowed us to use their car park.

Self catering. Meant we could please ourselves , Come and go as we pleased, Make a meal or eat out. Total freedom.

Very spacious property, there is plenty of room for everyone to also have a quiet moment. Good sized bedrooms, big kitchen with all of the necessary equipment. We arrived with three cars, but were able to agree with the neighbours to park out third car at a space nearby. Good location to start your explorations, the pub is just around the corner. The host even prepared a Welcome Hamper for us, which was much appreciated.
The weather was unusually cold for the time of the year and we found that heating the living area was challenging.

This is a lovely property with stunning views and very spacious ,the welcome basket was a nice touch but problems with the shower in the main bathroom that’s been like a couple of years according to the comments book ,
needs sorting !!!

The Barn hard to find all properties have same post code ..pub landlady came to rescue...not a major problem but worth a mention.

A lovely well equipped spacious barn in a fabulous location with some beautiful scenery. Great walks and places to visit in the local area including Grassington and Skipton. The welcome basket was a lovely touch and the open fire was cosy after a long day of walking.

The barn was clean, with a very well equipped kitchen. Plenty of towels and bedding, the rooms are a good size to sleep the 6 of us.
Limited of parking for a third car, with narrow access roads. Water pressure in both showers were low. We struggled to operate the oven fully.

Fully equipped, nice and warm for our November nights. Large TV, felt like a home from home. Totally was above our expectations, was such a peaceful and very beautiful location. We loved our stay at Fawcetts Barn 🥰

Location is great walking distance to pub and 5 minute drive to riverside or 10 minute drive to Skipton. The welcome hamper was also a lovely touch.
We didn’t have enough time at the property in the first night as you can’t check in until 5pm.

I stayed here with some friends in March- age range 25-55 & it was perfect! I just booked it recently for my parents & their aunt & uncle- age range 69-84 & again everything about the barn was perfect! The lady who owns the barn is so lovely when you communicate with her too! I wouldn’t hesitate to book again, It’s spacious, clean, perfectly located & has everything that you need xx

I love the converted stone barn, it was just the kind of place I’d imagined escaping to the county into!
Built to house a larger family than ours. Well equipped from kitchen to dining room and from TV to gaming (both board and video).
Blink and you’ll miss the “road” (driveway) to get there!

The only improvements I can think of is the addition of a chair in the bedrooms to accommodate discarded clothing!

Location was just what we wanted within 50 metres of a good cafe and 70 metres of a good pub/restaurant. Cracoe was also handy for 3 walks from the doorstep of the property. The TV at 60 inches was superb.
The property was a little tired. The price was a little steep.
