Our stay was very calm and we spent a lot of time with family. Enjoyed the beach area with the kids. The owner was very good with communication. The cabin was well equipped. We really enjoyed our time away from hustle and bustle.

What a truly wonderful home! My spouse and I hosted a group of ten (including ourselves) at Lure Me In for a week for a 25th anniversary gathering of our friend group. The cabin was precisely what we needed in every way:
1. The rooms were clean, beautiful, comfortable, and accessible.
2. The kitchen—oh my goodness, I’ve never seen a bette stocked kitchen, which was such a relief because we COOKED. Man, did we cook! LOL
3. The two common areas were well appointed and fantastic for games and chatting, and as gamers we did a lot of both.
4. The beds were some of the most comfortable I’ve ever slept in; I actually wish I’d checked the brand of mattress because I’m seriously considering buying my own.
5. Towels—SO many towels including a really thoughtful touch of a little basket of grey washcloths/towels in each bathroom specifically intended for makeup removal. How smart!
I could really go on and on. The location is wonderfully convenient—less than a ten minute drive to the beach—but it’s off the main road enough that you really feel very private. We didn’t actually use the fire pit or hot tub (way too hot right now!) but we loved our mornings and evenings on the porches.
The owner was wonderfully communicative at all points, very friendly, quick to respond, and so very helpful. I’ve never had THIS good of an experience with any rental, and I’ve rented quite a few. Lure Me In really deserves more than five stars. Kudos!

Lure Me In Lodge did just as its name implies and our family could not have asked for better Memorial Day weekend accommodations. Clean and well appointed, a king bed on each floor, secluded but situated near the Lake; this lodge was perfect for our trip. Would highly recommend!

PROS: Beautiful location. Quaint little village just a five minute drive. Close to Chimney Rock Park. We had eight adults and four children and there was plenty of room for all. The hot tub was a favorite amongst everyone. The firepit area was great for sitting and talking and making smores. The billiard table and numerous board games kept the family entertained. CONS: Every adult complained about the awful mattresses. We all had a hard time sleeping and woke up with soreness because of the worn out beds. The driveway is very hard to maneuver, especially for three vehicles. While the kitchen was pretty well stocked with equipment, there was absolutely no room for food storage. We cooked several grand meals and non-perishables had to be kept in boxes on the floor. One must open the stove door in order to open a drawer or open the dishwasher to open a different drawer. The construction of this home is shoddy at best. The kitchen floor slopes and there are numerous water leaks on the deck area leading to mold on the outside and I truly believe it is why two of us kept having respiratory problems. In other words, we had a nice get together but the house itself needs a lot of repair.

The house was beautiful and fully stocked with everything we needed. The hosts were very gracious and even emailed to say we could check our late Sunday because no one else was coming after us. Great experience and would definitely stay again 😊

My family and I had a great time at Lure Me in Lodge. The place was great for a large family or if you just want a lot of room. We cooked a complete Thanksgiving feast and there was plenty of cookware and appliances. The place was extremely clean and comfortable. The hostesses, Sharon and Heather were great! They were quick to respond to any inquiry or need. The Lodge is conveniently located to everything in the area. The grocery store is less than 10 minutes down the street and the local liquor store just 2 minutes. Your minutes away from restaurants and all sorts of outdoor activity. Chimney Rock village is just 5 minutes down the street. We happen to like Ashville and it is just a 40-minute easy drive. We will definitely plan another vacation here in the future.

Wonderful house and location. I would just recommend that guests get good written directions before you go, because the gps had us going in every direction and we had a tough time finding it each time we ventured out and back. Road to house is very narrow and winding, so drive very carefully!

Our family enjoyed the stay at the Lake Lure area. The cabin was close to the lake, Chimney Rock, Flowering Bridge, restaurants, shopping, and lots of outdoor activities. Enjoyed our tour boat ride, paddleboarding, and the back deck for some peace and quiet. KIds enjoyed the hot tub, playing pool, and making Smores in the fire pit. Only saw a bear once- on the last day we were there. Heather was close and was able to respond to our questions. The only problem we had was that the air-conditioner in the loft bedroom was out for the last two nights of our stay. Otherwise, we had an enjoyable stay.

The house was a little older but overall in good condition. It had a great back deck with a Mountain View. Hot tub on lower level was large and clean. Three levels so a lot of stairs but privacy for couples.location was close in to Chimney Rock and Lake Lure.

This was a fabulous after Christmas get-a-way! We had 8 adults and grandbaby (16 mths). The home set up worked great for us!! It was colder than last year so we spent lots of time downstairs playing pool, ping pong and lots of our family games and puzzle. The kitchen was well stocked with items we needed to cook many meals (every meal) during our few days! The camp fire was a nice end to our time together. The host was Johnny on th spot! Any time I reached out they responded very quickly! We would stay here again for sure!!

Our family of nine celebrated Thanksgiving at Lure Me In and had an excellent time. The pool table and hot tub were big hits. There was plenty of room for everyone, and the game room was perfect for all the holiday sports on TV. We highly recommend!

Highly highly highly recommend this location if you have a family of 10 or less. The house is not far off the main road so very easy access as I’m one to have reservations about driving too far into the mountains. It’s less than 10 mins to Chimney Rock and the local grocery store Ingles is just a couple of miles away. Also, a good amount of restaurants to choose from that are also with close proximity. Property manager Heather was a pleasure to communicate and work with. We were able to check in close to 3 hrs earlier and she even offered to let us check out at noon. Anytime I reached out Heather was quick to respond within minutes to seconds. The house was clean, snacks were provided and the lamps were on when we arrived (which was a nice little touch). The hot tub was a huge hit for several members of our family and the view was spectacular. We look forward to returning soon!

This rental was everything we needed. The snacks were a nice touch and the key pad entrance was wonderful. The view was as advertised and we took a nice family picture on the deck. The Wi-Fi was the only draw back but, maybe because of the amount of people in the area for Labor Day weekend.

I had a wonderful time at Lure me in Lodge, I had some minor issues, but nothing serious, I had to spray a lot for spider and ran out of garbage bags, but that’s okay, I would stay there again in a heartbeat!!! Thank you for your hospitality!!!

This house is the perfect spot for a mountain getaway!!! The house has five large bedrooms spaced apart with plenty of privacy. A beautiful living room overlooking the wooded lot and a large game room. It is immaculate and fully stocked with anything you need. The owner was wonderful to communicate with while preparing for the trip! The location is right near Lake Lure and Chimney Rock and a short drive to Asheville.

Nice house close to Chimney Rock
House is located on a hillside not far from Lake Lure. Parking for public access to Lake Lure was just a little over a mile away and Chimney Rock one mile beyond that. House is as described, but I would try to limit to 10 adults so everyone has a bedroom. Plenty of parking if you have multiple drivers. Had one rainy day during our stay so having the pool table and hot tub was really nice. Would stay at this place again.

A short Drive down or up the mountain takes you to anything you could need, including a winery, a brewery and countless restaurants. We thoroughly enjoyed the fire pit on our first night and the huge deck was our main resting place all weekend — when were not out and about. The owner Heather was super responsive and helpful, that was such a huge plus! I definitely recommend this property and hope to be back!

Great Getaway!
Great house in a great location! This was our first time visiting Lake Lure and Asheville. The home was in a great location, allowing us to visit Asheville, hike Chimney Rock and explore Lake Lure. The home was clean, kitchen is well stocked, the beds are comfortable and the amenities are very nice. This place worked very well for our group ranging in age from 80 years old to an infant. The bedrooms spread out on each level allowed everyone privacy and comfort. The property managers were very easy to work with and shared good information, for instance closest grocery stores, etc. Instructions throughout the house are clear and appreciated as well. Overall, a great stay!!! Highly recommend!!
